I am not big on spiders. I fully respect them and enjoy my space away from them. I try to respect their webs and hunting grounds and always apologize if I accidently knock one down. True story, when I approached out woodshed to get logs for the fire the front had a web across the doorway. I saw the spider and asked politely if I may pass to get my wood. The sides instantly moved to collect its webbing. When I had finished loading my cart I thanked the spider and watched as it got right back to work building its trap in a premium spot to catch its meals. Like I said, I respect them but am not a fan, if one happens to crawl into my space I cannot predict how my body will react...why is it always spiders? Snakes, no problem I probably speak their tongue, yellow jackets and wasps in general, I stand still when they fly around, have never been stung but my family is allergic so I keep my space where I can. Respect should be both ways and I hope it is but it still seems the respect is one-sided unless someone out there speaks wasp and can interpret for me...lol
