Writers Block
Added 2021-03-15 14:45:41 +0000 UTCThe worst part of writing is having ideas that you know you want to type out but they aren't translating well to the page. I'm up to 35k words on book 6. My goal is 120k words, but I'll probably overshoot that.
Thankfully I've gotten over the worst bit for now and am now chugging away. Given the way I write, I won't be releasing any chapters soon. I'm a heavy revisionist style author, meaning I go back into my earlier work multiple times to improve the quality. There are literally chunks of the book where the dialogue is literally "Jim says something funny" "Shart replies snarly" "Badgelor says something vicious."
I'm currently working on the Sea Shanty chapter, and that should be ready for Johnathan eventually.
