Nevermind, I think I answered my own question. As long as I keep Sara and Nina in the canyon where they initially spawn in during the 2nd Chapter Attacked Village, the rest of that stage can be completed using the normal route and from there the game plays out normally.

2021-03-03 06:53:10 +0000 UTCI'm having trouble getting to anything but the "Kiss Scenes" alternate ending where Karina turns everybody into lovepets. In the fight in the Temple of Time at the end of the 1st chapter, Niltaru's brainwashing doesn't progress no matter how much she's hit, so the only way to end the scene seems to be to have Kai "talk" to Karina, setting up the alternate lovepets route. After that, in the 2nd Chapter Attacked Village, any attempt to move Sarah and Nina out of the canyon where you spawn in (specifically past the bottom of that last cliff that blocks line of sight with the village) results in their conversion scenes from the alternate lovepets route playing and triggering the Friends in Need of Love stage. This happens even if I keep Aoi away from the circle that triggers the start of her alternate route scenes and no other scenes from that route have played out. Am I missing something? Is there some new requirement for getting the normal route and the rest of the post-Karina content?
