Health update
Added 2020-12-09 14:02:07 +0000 UTCI tested positive for Covid-19. I most certainly got it from work. I started feeling really tired and cold at work on about monday or tuesday, had 2 days off, and started having respiratory illness during those 2 days off. I showed up for work Thursday night and was sent home. Since then I've been unable to work, both from being sick and self-quarantine precautions. I had my test performed on Saturday and had to wait 48 - 72 hours. I called the clinic for the results. I tested positive and they sent me email confirmation.
I have/ have had all the symptoms the CDC listed. I have not had the severe symptoms. My body temperature has been havering just above 96 degrees, no fever but until just today I constantly was cold/ had the chills. I've been wearing more layers and eating and drinking most things at room temp or hot to heat up my core.
I had a burning nausea that is now thankfully gone but I'm nowheere near out of the woods yet. I'm taking cold and flu medicine as well.
I'm not abandoning or postponing any of my art or comms or projects. I'm working on them as mcuh as I'm able to without straining myself. I have 3 comics to do. If I feel ill or exhausted I just stop and either do something else or I get some rest (which seems to be key for beating covid.)
I'm making this post to let you guys know that I'm ok and that I'm not leaving or going anywhere. If anything does change and it's bad enough to where I can't work on my art then I will pause my patreon.
