First of all - thank you very much for your support. Without you - this game will not exist.
Since August last year - the numbers of supporters have dropped drastically and it's tough for me to afford spending all my time on these games.
Episode 4 will be released in February and episode 5 in March. After that I need to make a decision how to proceed. I have 2 options: Continue with episode 6 with the risk of loosing more supporters so it's not worth any longer for me to make these games or:
Make a break in Season 2 and switch to my last game in this serie - 'My Early Life'
The new game will be with same game engine as the first games but with more fixed challenges.
In case you decide that I should switch the game - Season 2 will return after 'My Early Life' has been finished as the end of Season 2 has already been written

Please don't take the following as a "judgement". It's just some observations from a gamer/developer. (In no particular order) 1. Given how many of the same assets seem to repeat in Season 2 I'm a little surprised that multiple episodes aren't released together. 2. I have a serious Love / Hate relationship with MBFD S1 and S2. 3. Found a couple of bugs in S2E4. Early on there are scenes with April but the title says Anett. 4. I don't mind a slow burn but the repetitive nature of S2 becomes old. I am already very tired of hearing about how hot the weather is. And after holding the Ctrl button down to zip through the repetitive parts in search of new content it makes S2S4 pretty short lived. 5. It's unclear what is needed to actually 'progress' in the game. For example, in other story driven games, you are aware of the plot/objectives/etc. necessary to advance the story. In S2E4 I am at 60 or 67 milestones and I have no idea what I'm missing. I have repeated so many events over and over trying different variations. The ONLY thing I can think of is that maybe I goofed up with photo shoots. All the girls start coming at you wanting to do photo shoots but you can only do so much at a time. I feel like I accepted too many and somehow lost out on something. I had 2 shoots with April and Anett but only 1 with Sue. 6. Suggestion/Idea: Rather than abandoning S2 what about this: a. Shorten the number of Episodes b. Decrease the repetitive loops c. Increase the new content. Otherwise S2 could be nicknamed "My Best Friends Blue Balls".... :)

2023-02-13 12:14:53 +0000 UTCstarting a new game while subs are dropping is a bad idea imo, itll just make the delays between updates even longer which will disappoint even more people which lead to less supporters, maybe if you r willing to change your rewards tier things will improve, 4-6 weeks delay between tier is a bit extreme as not a lot of people are willing to spend a high amount monthly, so economies of scale will lead to better result, just my two cents ;)

Now I don't consider myself to be a VN simp, but at the least have more outward differences in ways to approach the women. I know the scenes themselves will show their different personalities, but try to mix up the chase a bit, if you know what I mean?

Your previous games all started with pretty much a single focus on the primary LI, with the plot eventually branching out into other LI's and side characters. Having 4 characters that need to be corrupted equally, with relatively the same strategy, becomes pretty monotonous and uninteresting. And for what its worth, I really enjoy your games Bob and I'm going to continue being a patreon, as I feel like you're part of an underrepresented niche. Just my two cents. Feel free to reach out if you want to bounce off any ideas! Hope the Patreon picks up!

2023-01-30 19:03:25 +0000 UTCI agree with Watcher. Your games have always been a slow burn, which is good. The grooming aspect is something that's missing in the vast majority of adult games. That being said, to be as open world as this game is, it's actually very linear. You must progress with all four girls evenly, using the same steps, with different art. Peek at each girl, talk to each girl, walk in on each girl, touch each girl, etc. Maybe focus on one girl in each update, or focus on one girl, and have her help you with the other girls. Just a thought. As for dropping revenue, this has been a constant issue across all of Patreon (as well as Steam, and other platforms) during the entire Covid era. Not only that, but with inflation being up almost worldwide, thee just isn't as much disposable income to be had with most people. This isn't a problem with the product, it's a problem with the consumers.

2023-01-30 18:53:04 +0000 UTCI'm enjoying Season 2 but would like to see some engine changes, like a day counter and the addition of a Jump to next episode button, maybe a skip to next day one as well. Also having a event count is an important feedback mechanism to know when you make progress.

2023-01-30 17:55:49 +0000 UTCI have enjoyed your games and the slow burn in the past, they are somewhat unique in a crowded AV field. I have tried to support you as my limited finances permit. Although the new girls for your potentially new game look very cute, I had to vote for you to continue your development on the current game. After many months, we are finally getting the girls to the point where things are getting interesting and want to see where that goes. But a few thoughts: Your other two games focus initially on one girl and we got to know her and watch her progress. Other girls were added after she had progressed. This game has four girls and they must all progress evenly leading to repetition and a slowing down in that progression. Perhaps picking one girl to lead and letting the others follow after her might help. As others have said, having some on screen feedback would greatly help letting the player know where you are in the chapter. Others have said it, but this game is in the slow burn stage, so losing some supporters until thing heat up is probably expected, but starting a new game will put you in the same place again and you may lose even more supporters. Keep up the good work Bob.

2023-01-30 15:23:35 +0000 UTCDon't stop season 2, but perhaps a slower release date? Give your self more time for bug fixes and play testing. Episode 1 & 2 are fine, if a little light on content, but episode 3 feels messy and I've personally been unable to complete it. Some of the story events, like Anett removing her makeup happened very quickly and I think it would have felt more involving had there been several events or game play sections leading up to it first. This is a personal preference, but I'm also not a fan of the meta references acknowledging that I'm playing a game, or that certain content will come next episode. I think an increase in quality will see more patrons willing to stick around. Good work though, I do enjoy the games but like I say, last episode felt like a bit of a disappointment after the foundation the first two set.

If we have to play for a certain number of days It is really nice to have a starting point :) The response or relationship seems to bee all over the place??? One scene you are good, and two scenes later you just meet her?????? Without any enter action between scenes...

If you need to take a break with MBFD 2, and work on a new game in the series, then by all means do it. I only ask that you do come back to MBFD 2 at some point. Thanks for all your games.

I know it's hard time all over the world so I need to do it better and better to be able to keep at least some supporters.

2023-01-30 12:11:27 +0000 UTCI think a drop in supporters is happening to a lot of Patreon creators right now, but not all. No idea why any given creator would buck the trend or not. I voted to continue with Season 2 as I feel the drop may be due to having to 'Start again with just teasing' - people had got used to nudity and sex. Take it away and some will abandon, especially with the cost of living crisis. Conversely, I do like that you have always avoided 'milking' one cash cow game like so many others do; you actually finish games! Perhaps, as one game comes to an end, run its replacement in parallel? Obviously with a reduced update rate for both, but it embeds the new one with existing supporters before the old one finishes. Or I could be talking drivel, what do I know? :)

And I don´t know, the progress is no progress. It feels more like humble from step to step. In the past I was eager to see what happened next. Now I am thinking....oh a new update is online. And Eric Boatman is right. You should see from each girl how much points you got without speak with them. It is confusing. Other games show what you have to do next (time and place!!!). It is less fun and feels like work.

2023-01-30 09:35:02 +0000 UTCA couple of things I see from all of the games in this series. One is it seems with each game the sex animations are shorter and have less animation. Dude is a 2 pump chump. Two, the point system was fine until you miss one, I haven't gone passed E9 on MFL because I missed a scene somewhere and will completely have to play the game over now after resetting the game and persistent files... not the first time I've run into this. Third I realize this is a "Trainer" class game, but honestly it gets very repetitive doing the same sceens over and over. I'm still here and wish you luck. Hope my input helps.

While there are variations, you need to redo mostly everything four times. I still haven't finished Episode 3 because of this, and that is really a first since I've been playing your games.

2023-01-30 08:54:43 +0000 UTCI will add that a lot of players don't like the "old Bob" in season 2, I don't know where in the series MEL comes maybe it is between MFL and MBFD maybe it would have been better to do MFL before season 2 and have Bob gradually aging leading up to season 2, I know RFR had the older bob and ended with him looking back on his life with the girls, maybe if you decide to do MEL then go back to season 2 but kinda do a revamp of season 2 with a simular engine as MBFD and MFL, once again just my thoughts, but in any case I will continue to support you because IMHO you are a great Dev and I enjoy your games.

Go with My Early Life then come back with Season 2 with some changes to the point system as it is the point system that is causing problems and players to become dissappointed in the game hence dropping support, personally I would like to see the point system dropped completely but that is your call.
