Going forward before starting any new anime that has a well known dub, do a poll between sub and dub and see where the vote ends up. Just a suggestion, love the content otherwise.

Btw, I like watching the intros and outros when they change but after watching them the first time, I usually skip the intro until it's a different one again, I recommend doing the same bc many of the my hero intros are worth watching at least once imo and not spoilery (unlike some other anime which you gotta watch out for when you watch them). Also fyi, the first episode of each of the next seasons is always kind of a fun (recap) and mostly non-canon episode, just so you know.

2022-05-16 05:25:26 +0000 UTCI don’t know how you guys feel about spoilers but I would recommend to not watch the intros/outros for future animes as they usually contain heavy spoilers. You can always go back and watch them if they change them midway a season or after the season is over. I can’t wait for you guys to react to the various animes out there, keep up the good work! Edit; I’m with Ron, I prefer not seeing any spoilers when watching a new anime.

It is easily dropped unless people reach the season finale of season 1. *Especially for anime-only watchers back when only season 1 had just finished airing. Compared to now, when there are many seasons available, it is harder for this show to be dropped as people have higher expectations starting this show, based on the good things others (who have finished watching) are saying about this series.

I’m in Euless, Texas (between Dallas and Fort Worth) and I’ve never seen someone being attacked solely for being Asian. Not saying it doesn’t happen… I mean… the Bible Belt in general isn’t the most tolerant lol. But in general I think you’d be safe in most major cities.

2022-05-15 06:10:24 +0000 UTCSo from what I’ve read (aside from colonization and war then the after effects of both) a lot of Japanese like going to Hawaii because of the short flight (though it’s 8 hours *ouch*) and because of the prices. Compared to Japan it’s much cheaper to purchase western goods in Hawaii rather than buy the western goods in Japan. This includes western fashion and the over all “Hawaii vibe”. Though I haven’t found much historically aside from Japanese immigrants arriving in the mid to late 1800’s. That being said, when I worked at the airport we’d get a lot of Japanese and Chinese customers who would fly in solely to purchase makeup and similar merchandise at the airport shops like duty free. It’s insane to me but apparently it’s much cheaper to buy in bulk in US shops and then take back to sell in their respective countries. I’ll let y’all know if I find anything else that’s actually historically influenced though.
