Like these are the ones I personally started with, the anime style is retro agreed but the storyline is Epic!! Here would definitely support JJK which is one of those anime that pushed anime style into a new era after Demon Salyer offcourse.

I’d like to recommend rezero for u guys. It’s about a hikikomori (shut in) Subaru that was transported to another world out of nowhere and is now in a new fantasy world where he believes he has powers and or strength like in a video game, he rather quickly learns that he did not gain anything and is as useless as he was in the real world… But he does have one power at least… it’s called return by death. This power allows him to restart the world he is in to a unspecified checkpoint during the shows timeline when he dies. But before all of that Subaru sees this new world as a way to become a new person. A better person he could become than the one he was in the previous one where he had no friends and mental health issues. This show is not a Shonen anime with a lot of fast paced action but is a show that targets mental health, and that humans do have the ability to change their fate if they can manage to overcome their psychological obstacles that hinder them from making the right choice. This show gets pretty dark the more you get into it but I just really wanted to shout this show out for u guys it’s sooo gooodand I’m sure the others who have seen the show and would read my long post could agree as well. Both are really good! Juju would be better for the next one I think, mainly because it’s only one season, one movie, as of this moment. And AoT will be finished come next year. You can finish juju and then either do another short one, or start a series of long anime shows to watch.

But for those who are split on clearly wanting one over the other, the length of the show should not be the deciding factor. But from what I’m gathering most of the patreons here enjoy both so I can follow with your logic there. My only gripe is with the jjk fans who don’t rate aot, using the length argument as their basis.

Not necessarily. By watching JJK first would allow those (which in this case just happens to be the majority) to obtain their reactions first in a more timely manner. Sure, if majority wanted to watch AOT first, im sure that it would have been leading the polls, however, I feel that the length of the anime's is a key player as it would allow those wanting JJK first to be able to get their reactions first. So if us as payer's of their reactions are voting to observe JJK first for that reason, I think that is highly logical. I couldn't see why that would not be logical or a valid argument to the order in which they react to it. If you're going to watch both anyways, start with the shorter one so that those wanting it don't have to wait as long. Rather than having those wanting to watch JJK wait 80+ ep, it seems more logical for those wanting AOT to wait much less of 20+ ep, that way both parties can attain what they want in a logical and fair manner. Of course, if they only planned to watch one of them, then sure the length won't matter at all. I would be more focused on the quality of the anime. But purely for this case, where they are planning on watching both, this is the more logical sequence.

No, that's completely wrong. I think you and many others don't seem to realize that they are reacting to both of these anime's as they had mentioned on the post itself. Purely on that basis, it would be more logical for them to react to the shorter one first, and then pursue the longer one (once again in this scenario it works out, not for all anime reactions) Which in this case would be JJK then AOT. If for example they did not mention that they would be reacting to both, then yes, there can a an argument made. I agree, there is no pleasing all. I've mentioned in my prior posts that I enjoy both a lot, so for me it's all good content.

AOT have a "political arc" after season 2, going until middle of season 3, after first half the action take place again. Much people consider second part one of the best seasons of the anime, but is ever political, there's no way to escape this LOL. I feel like the length of the anime is crucial in this context. They did mention that they will be reacting to both anime's, meaning that firstly they are clearly interested in both anime's, and secondly, they know that these are the two most requested anime's from their fanbase. With that in mind, the logical flow would be to begin with a lighter hearted anime like JJK (especially right after the heavy emotional anime like DS) and then move onto another heavy emotional anime like AOT. I don't think your wrong in saying they should watch what they enjoy, but there's a reason for the poll, they want the input from their audience to see what we as their viewer's also enjoy. For me, I love both lol. So it's a win-win for me and a lot other's I assume, and both are great anime's which I think they'll truly enjoy.

There is nothing wrong paralleling and drawing reference from historical events that are stains in human history without propagating the ideologies that prompted them. For all asking why JJK is winning, it's because it's a shorter anime. There's no doubt that both are incredible anime's, but considering they post 3 ep. per week, it would take much longer to get through AOT than JJK, as JJK is only 24 ep. If they do 3 per week for example it would finish in about 2 months. Then AOT can be started if that's what they want to watch. I don't think it's a matter of which anime is better at this point, its just logical in my opinion to start with JJK and make our way to AOT, rather than making those wanting JJK wait much longer.

Since it seems like you're doing JJK and AoT for sure next I'd like to throw a contender in the ring for after them / down the road, Reincarnated as a Slime. It's one of the more popular isakais nowadays and has 2 seasons (3 if you wanna watch the spinoff series set in between seasons 1 and 2) and a 3rd season coming some time in the near future. I'm sure you'd like it, it's got great battles and some really nice world-building.

Look I enjoyed AOT but I don’t recommend it to people new to anime and I’m never going to rewatch. The story is interesting but I find it exhausting overall. I would watch reacts to maybe key eps because I like y’all but it’s honestly way overrated and the antisemitic undertones are icky. I 100% agree. Black Clover definitely takes the cake as having the best character develop for everyone even the smallest of side characters. Everyone grows as a character and there are very few characters that you don’t end up somewhat liking. It gets slept on because of the beginning but is definitely gets better with every episode

I'm glad somebody here mentioned black clover 🍀. I like both MHA and Black Clover but Black Clover is by far one of the most slept on and under appreciated animes currently out. Black Clover in my opinion is better than MHA, its a better story, and it does a far better job at building character development than MHA. Like I said before this is just my opinion if you disagree that's fine everyone has their own preferences and opinions.

It’s more of a “it’s shorter” thing but in my opinion, AOT is almost finished and it should be the one to go through easier since there is only one part left to season 4. By the time they finish it’ll be closer to the end and JJK is still ongoing and hasn’t even had a second season so we’ll be waiting on their reaction. ^ EASILY hands down the most concise and logical argument in this entire thread. Think about it before you vote. Throw some variety in there before yall burn them out. Another recently adapted shonen based on demons/curses? No shade on jjk but see the grand scheme, the bigger picture. This will benefit their channel and their growth as reactors the most. Not only for the audience but for Michelle and Ron’s viewing pleasure. Don’t limit them to repetitively watching fight focused action packed shonens. We already have MHA for that. We literally just caught up to demon slayer. JJK can come along after with the movie stream release.

Honestly, no one will be disappointed with either outcome, but for your channel/patreon and for the sake of better experience/reactions, I really think AOT is the choice here. The more you delay, the more chance spoilers will get to you and AOT will be the most easily spoiled anime you've encountered yet. Also, the JJK movie will be available in the next few months. I think the timing works better for that as well. JJK is an anime like One Punch Man that I think you can react to at any time, but thinking big picture, AOT is the best choice to replace DS right now.

seriously, i think AOT is the BEST choice here. Think about guys, They've watched nothing but high-octane shonen so far. AOT would be a GREAT change of pace here. It's not like AOT is not an action-packed shonen, it just comes with a lot more depth and inflection. I think JJK should be saved for later. AOT is longer and something they should get started on now. If they are saturated with all these short action-packed shonen in the beginning then it sets a lot of expectations and first impressions that I feel will affect their perspectives on deeper animes (such as AOT and HxH) later on. Think long-run big picture pls.

There’s always going to be new releases and most anime nowadays are fast paced w short seasons. (Eg. spy fam, ranking of kings, chainsaw man, vinland saga, etc.) We’ll never get along to the plot/world building longer ones at this rate.. Also the longer the wait the more potential of spoilers for them. Especially when it comes to aot w the plot twists and all the hype the final part/ending will stir by the time they get around to it.

Attack on Titan, story wise is one greatest works of fiction. Perhaps even outside of anime along with the likes of lotr. 5 of their episodes are rated in the top 20 imdb tv list with breaking bad, the wire, sopranos. And for good reason. I’d be pressed if yall rly chose JJK over SnK. And I watched the jjk 0 movie just a couple weeks ago. Mid prequel honestly. Doesn’t come close to mugen train or even mha heroes rising.
