I disagree I love My Hero along with many other anime's that came out at the time. It also has good movies with a favorite of mine being Heroes: Rising. It might not be as suspenseful and gorey as things like DS and JJK but I think it holds its own and especially is insane right now in the manga.

The only change in Itadori was the perception of his strength or his "will" power, before he turned into Sukuna. So it is safe to assume that the reason why he couldn't change back is because Itadori didn't have the willpower to change back because he is depressed right now (realizing how weak he actually is).

idk if anyone has mentioned it, the black marks on itadori are for the viewers to differentiate between yuuji and sukuna. the characters can’t see those marks so they don’t know who’s in control

I think I didn't get confused because I read manga first, all the terms kinda make sense if we read in kanji tho 😅 Like if we only hear the sound "ryouiki tenkai" we don't really get the meaning but if we read the kanji (領域展開) we kinda can get the meaning of that. Also Akutami sensei explained detailed info in between chapters, like all the jujutsu backgrounds so its actually confusing if we only watch the anime. That's why I highly recommend everyone to read the manga along (or you can read official guide book but its including some stuffs after anime so I can't recommend if you don't want spoilers) 🤣

yea true the pacing is quite slow compared to other recent shonen but all the development is worth it, anyway I'm glad that I read MHA first bcs if I only watch the anime, I wouldn't be patient enough to follow the pacing 🤣 At least in manga I can read faster, and Horikoshi sensei(the author)'s drawing is amazing. I went to MHA manga exhibition in Tokyo and all of his artworks are amazing 😭💜

Yes, It’s called “（式神）Shiki Gami” and I think it’s inspired by Onmyo-ji. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shikigami) Megumi’s cursed technique is Ten Shadows Technique which he creates/uses 10 shikigami by mediating his shadow. I still don’t know how he creates each shikigami lol anyways it seems that they are animals mostly. Based on term of shikigami, it doesn't have to be animals though. I'm not a native English speaker so hope you understand what I'm trying to explain 😅

To answer your question, No, not all Special Grades have a Sukuna finger in them. Remember Gojo said that some curses have already invested some before. So thats what made THIS special grade in particular more powerful and deemed it worthy of special grade ranking.

Don't listen to the people saying to drop My Hero Academia, sure it moves slower then Demon Slayer and some other animes but I feel like the story needs that. You really get to settle into people's personalities, their motivations and you get to see how they grow and learn. You need that for the pay off of the last season and I suspect the next up coming seasons. It wouldn't have such an impact if you hadn't spent all that time with all of these characters. Plus some of my favorite story arcs are in season 3 and 4. I'm watching Jujutsu for the first time right now, I'm only two episodes ahead of you guys and I'm loving it, it is a great show to follow up Demon Slayer with ♥️

Just to make thing clear about "window", so far in the official guide book its only written that they are non-sorcerers that could see curses and working with Jujutsu Tech, they usually act like work at other places to hide (kind of like spy) and report about curses if they found them. For Michelle's question abt what if they find power, I think you will find more about it in later episodes even though its not specifically about "window", its all connected.

My Hero Academia was really good in the beginning, however it quickly became a filler show between all the amazing anime that has come out. I still highly recommend Spy X Family solely for Michelle to get her fill of cuteness.

so excited to see yall get further into the series!! also, special grade cursed spirits havent necessarily eaten a finger of sukunas, but to eat one of his fingers would make a cursed spirit much stronger so its not too surprising to see either. special grades simply possess a really high level of cursed energy, and to kill them would require the sorcerer to also have a really high level of cursed energy (because curses can only be killed by curses or cursed energy, which is why a normal person cant do anything against them). and megumi (black haired boy w/ the animals) is also a first year, hes just known about the world of jujutsu for much longer than yuuji has :]

Megumi Fushiguro (the shikigami boy) is a first year along with Yuuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki, the reason he seems more experienced will be revealed later. And curses are killed with attacks and weapons imbued with cursed energy, which is why Yuuji wasn't able to hurt the curse in the first episode before he ate Sukuna's finger. Loved this episode so much. It immediately sets the tone and severity of the story, all while giving you a taste of the power scaling and expanding what you can really do with jujutsu. Also shows just how far the first years still have to go. And don't forget this is only 1/10th of Sukuna's strength, the dude is an absolute monster.

this episode is when it really gets good. it’s a perfect episode to explain the power scale in the show. you got itadori which is basically a regular human at this point. (granted he is abnormal athletic), you have the special grade curse which is basically like the 12 kizuki from demon slayer, and you have Sakuna, Gojo and many more youll meet later. love this episode and you’re guys reaction.
