2022-06-23 22:15:25 +0000 UTCAlso a thing you may have missed that Maki which is the twin from Tokyo branch said about the other twin Mai from the Kyoto branch (the one with the gun) is that Mai has cursed energy and can put it into objects but cannot use that cursed energy to do cursed techniques. When referring to Todou too you guys said he uses cursed energy only on special grade, that is what I wanna clarify. Like Gojo explained while training Itadori, there is "cursed energy" and "cursed techniques" which make use of that cursed energy in a certain way to have some certain effect. Todou uses cursed energy but he only used his cursed technique against the special grade.

That old man was involved in trying to get Itadori killed by that white special-grade curse that Sukuna killed back in episode 4. Gojo was sent away on a mission to be distracted and to keep him from interfering with the higher-up's plans of killing Itadori. Can't blame Gojo at all for treating him that way and hating all of the higher-ups.

Maki is a HUGE exception, 1 she knows about the world of curses (wont say how as it can be considered spoiler but its kinda said this ep), The 2nd reason is something mentioned in ep 1 that everyone would have missed, when megumi first saw itadori in his school competing with his teacher in shotput and commenting on how itadori is a superhuman he also said itadori is "just like Zenin(maki) sempai". ie maki also has superhuman strength like itadori. Hence why she can survive as a sorceror

In ep 1 we saw Itadori have super human abilities, so that implied that this world has humans with crazy physical attributes that our world has never seen. While there are basic humans in this anime, there are extremely gifted ones also. I agree that the force that causes bodily harm may be inconsistent and confusing, but for the most part we can see that their bodies can withstand a great deal of force, but also can take damage from special grades like Itadori did losing his hand and fingers from cursed attacks.

Personally, in my own life and I’m sure many others can agree - elders should be respected but not left unchecked. The thing is when they are in a position of power, they are only making decisions within their own personal mortality with little thought to the next generation. So personally I think Gojou is kind of just tired of them being unchecked despite having outdated views as to what being a Jujutsu Sorcerer should look like. I mean look at Mai and Maki. Both have issues when it comes to cursed energy and both have mentioned being looked down upon because of it. So I can only assume based off of this, that they aren’t seen as “real jujutsu sorcerers” because of one not having cursed energy and the other only being able to imbue cursed energy through objects. Also, has anyone made inferences about who itadori is? Why is he so strong naturally etc? I haven’t read the comics so these guesses are my own but what if he’s like the reincarnation of Sukuna in the past? They said that curses come from negative emotion, so what if the person who created sukuna via negative emotion was reincarnated into Itadori?

He limits his vocabulary to certain words because when he uses words with stronger meaning, the repercussions can be dangerous for him. For cause that using Jujutsu is basically a pact borrowing the powers from the cursed energy you can reach. You can receive and use that powers but you have to give something in return. People who are stronger have more cursed energy and vice versa. you can also perform certain techniques with your energy to use them for different purposes.

A tv and a refrigerator both used electricity(cursed energy) but the both do different things (cursed technique).

So being a jujutsu sorcerer is not really possible for usual people with special tools (imbued with cursed energy). She has a kind of balance: no cursed energy, no technics, but physical abilities and weapons.

Jujutsu sorcerer is like a position or role, like police officer, not a type of being. Last, I think the perfect example of the overcomplication, Gojou straight up says why he disrespects the old man, because the old man is one of the major conservative powers, likely the one who put itadori and the first years in harms way specifically just to kill itadori because they disagreed with Gojou, and presumably a majority since Gojou never really blatantly ignores higher ranking members and said he convinced the heads to go with his plan. Though he is a bit arrogant he's well aware that the only way to change the system is from within. He talked about this a few episodes ago!

The Jujustu sorcerer(Doctor) is Ieri, the driver is Ijichi, and the sorcerer in the tan suit at the end. So far it's just them and Gojo who know Itadori is still alive. 2. Maki(glasses) and Mai(gun-wielder) are both Jujutsu sorcerers but have different abilities. Mai can't use cursed techniques but has cursed energy so she can see curses and imbue objects with her cursed energy to use as cursed tools/weapons. Maki on the other hand has no cursed energy so she needs the special glasses and weapons that are imbued with someone else's cursed energy or have their own cursed energy. As far as I know from the anime her talent is pure combat awareness and being able to master the use of any weapon. Maki is a very rare case. Although anyone can be a sorcerer with the right tools it's definitely not an easy task. The sheer amount of work you need to put in if you don't have cursed energy is insane. Goes to show how dedicated she is. Gojo mentioned in an earlier episode that a person's talent/aptitude for jujutsu is determined at birth. So you either have it in you to become one or you don't.

Mai DOES have cursed energy and she can see them, Maki was just saying she doesn't have any good TECHNIQUES that she uses her cursed energy for. Maki (for reasons you learn later) does NOT have any cursed energy, and she can't see curses at all without her cursed glasses. In most cases, you can only go to Jujutsu High if you have cursed energy. Maki can only be a sorcerer because she was born to a sorcerer family. Because she doesn't have any cursed energy of her own, Maki has to use tools that have their own cursed energy inside them. A Jujutsu Sorcerer is someone who works at/for Jujutsu High. A Cursed Tool User is someone like Maki who has to use tools since they have little to no cursed energy of their own. Everything that is a monster is a curse. There are no other terminologies 😅 A Curse User is someone who has cursed energy and cursed techniques, but just does whatever they want, and doesn't work at/for Jujutsu High. hope this clears up some questions yall had about the show :)
