I moved to a city which is something similar to a main city in the US state and I can only think of having a small house for vacation in my home town at best.

It's one of the best Sci-fi/Time Travel show ever. It's just really underrated, because it's in german, but if you give it a try it will be a nice mindfuck adventure of a show! 😁 btw late patreon here, just catching up to all the things you have done! They both just went to the same place and were having the conversation across time. It was said twilight is when weird things start to happen and thats why they were able to see each other at twilight.

2022-07-08 18:50:32 +0000 UTCOne thing I realized only now during this watch-through, the sake they left behind is supposed to be half of themselves, which is why after that they stopped swapping bodies, because its literally their other half which is the guy for the girl and vice versa, this other half they had to give up when they left the offering in the shrine! 🤯🤯🤯 Also why when Taki drank the sake, they were reconnected.

Both males and females can use them all, and its a matter of personal choice in how a person refers to them. What happened was they way the two use these words is different, so there was the surprise on the guy friends's faces. Its not a matter of different dialects.

Some of which are "Voice from a Distant Star", "The Place Promised in Our Early Days", "The Garden of Words", and "5 Centimeters Per Second". I believe his specialty has always been his background and scenery artwork which is a prominent feature throughout his movies. You can also see the progression in his artwork from his early films to his latest. For instance, his earlier artwork for people was pretty rough but got better over time. The movie "Weathering with You" came out after "Your Name" and features a cameo of the "Your Name" characters. He has a new movie coming out in November called "Suzume no tojimari", give a search in Youtube it already has a trailer out and looks great. :)

2022-07-04 14:00:02 +0000 UTCTo answer your question about the first scene with mitsuha touching her boobs it was actually taki in her body, that would be the day everyone is talking about at the beginning but the way they cut the next scene of her having breakfast was the following day, really it’s just the way they cut those scenes that made it look like it was the same day but yes Ron was right about it being taki in that scene so he wins the wager :)

2022-07-03 09:45:16 +0000 UTCMichelle and Ron, Mitsuha was back in Taki's body because Taki drank the Sake from the shrine which was used as an offering at the special place that connected all realms of life. So the time was limited since Mitsuha technically already died, but by drinking the Sake Taki was able to add on a limited amount of time that allowed them to undo the string of fate. So that's why they were able to see each other for a minute or so but faded soon after. The grandma explains more of it the first time they go to the shrine and during the special ceremony where Mitsuha spits in the Vial.

So when taki drank the sake he went to the past 3 years ago when Mitsuha was still alive so hence they were able to switch bodies….although their time lines are different at “half light” they are able so each other and they switch back to the original bodies… hopefully it cleared some of your confusion guys… haha

I really love this movie, so I got inspired to visit it in 2018 and it really was beautiful, especially during sunset time. You can really experience the "twilight" moment from the movie in real life! Highly recommend it! It's a bit of a travel (took the shinkansen from Tokyo), but worth it! 😊
