and when itadori entered mahito’s domain it was the same as mahito touching itadori’s soul, mahito was mentally transferred into the innate domain. now that you’ve watched naruto, it’s kinda like how sasuke was able to enter the place where the nine tails is sealed

2022-07-05 23:17:51 +0000 UTCThis was not a case of Sukuna "canceling out" a domain like what Gojo did. All domains essentially guarantee that you WILL hit the enemy with your ability. This being said Mahito's ability is basically an instant kill IF he can touch you by touching your "soul". When Itdaori dropped in his "soul" was instantly touched by Mahito and basically Sukuna got triggered by his soul being touched.

2022-07-05 21:01:55 +0000 UTCGojos domain had a physical barrier to it too, which you could see in his fight against Jogo. Jogos domain was black and when it broke there was a white domain inside it. In this case, it wasnt Sukunas domain that counteracted the other one, it was just that with Yuuji inside it, Sukuna had been touched by the curse the second time and he had warned him before that he wouldnt allow it again. Thats why Sukuna attacked him, thats all. So, Itadori isnt just automatically safe in anybode elses domain unless Sukuna decides to come out and lay out his domain.

The power system is so complicated that a lot of people don't understand, especially what's gonna happen after season 1 will be beyond people's understanding. A quick reminder of how this fictional world works. Basically every normal human has curse energy within them, but unlike Sorcerers, they can't control the energy so their negative thoughts such as fear, hatred leaked out towards subjects just like people used to be scared of forest, ocean, and etc. Jogo was born from people's fear of Earthquake and Volcanos and that's his source of power. Mahito on the other hand, is born from people's hatred toward other humans, as we get more medical resources people tend to live longer, population increased and this result in Mahito gaining more curse energy than other curse spirits so eventually he will most likely become the strongest spirit. Moreover, being a sorcerer is a never ending job since spirits were constantly born from people's negativity that's why a lot of sorcerers got tired of this crap and quitted. Someone later in the show, same as Yuji, has a goal of creating a world with no curse spirits, which is not practical since it will require all of the humans to become sorcerers, or eliminate all of the non-sorcerers so curse spirits won't be created anymore.

So when Itadori went it, Mahito was touching his soul (and sukuna) automatically, so it was the second time and Sukuna had enough

After he took Jougo's head they show Gojo's domain from the outside as it starts to disappear. Also Sukana's domain was in ep 4 in this episode that was Sukuna's/Itadori's. Remember Mahitos curse technique changes a person's shape by touching their soul. Manitou domain expansion literally puts that person in the palm of his hand so to speak. So if you're in Mahitos domain he is already touching your soul. In a previous episode Sukuna warned Mahito not to touch his/Itadori's soul again or there would be consequences. Therefore when Itadori broke in Mahitos domain his soul was instantly touched by Mahito so Sukuna followed through with his initial warning and injured Mahito. I hope that helped a bit.

This show has a balanced power system sort of; so for example; basically to get something you want you have to give something in return. kind of like risk for reward. they give examples of this all the time in the show such as (imo the best one) when they give up information on their technique to their enemies is because in return for giving up this info to their enemy, their technique now becomes more effective on that individual. so you know when someone talks about their technique to their opponent theyre going all out. or these last 2 episodes mahitos stretching ability: to be able to get more range he gives up strength the further he stretches, or when nanami explained about mahitos domain: to make it almost impossible to escape from the inside he gives up the barriers strength on the outside. this show has a habit of showing before telling, so youll get more explanations later on. almost nothing in the series doesnt get explained. hope this wasnt to rambly or hard to follow.

2022-07-05 06:43:58 +0000 UTClet me explain how domain works (no spoilers) , most of domain expansions are granted hit it depends on the technique that specific domain have, Mahito technique is Idle transfiguration, he can alters the shape of anything he touches,and that kill his opponent for sure. no one can survive from be transfigurated, his domain make that easier. he doesnt need to chase after his opponent to kill them, every living thing inside his domain is already beeing touched, is like nanami said, is like beeing on the palm of his hand, that's why he only trapped Nanami inside because he knows Sukuna don't want to be touched, and that's a thing he can't have control. soon as Itadori invaded his domain he touched his soul and sukuna.... and sukuna told him not to do that. various types of domain exist but the most common and frequent are the one hit kill ones

2022-07-05 05:48:21 +0000 UTCback on the episode when gojo showed itadori his domain expansion they showed the outside as well it was a small multicolored sphere. gojo said that ep that the stronger the domain inside the easier it is to break in and vice versa and that the person who casts the domain their attacks are guaranteed to hit and mahitos main attack transfigures the soul which sakuna already warned him not to try on yuji. i actually love this show cant wait to see your reactions to the rest! <3

2022-07-05 04:19:01 +0000 UTCHi guys, welcome back. To answer a few questions. Mahito's Japanese VA is Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Gyutaro's (Demon Slayer) VA is Ryota Osaka, so different people. They probably just sounded a little similar. In Episode 4 where Itadori loses his hand and switches with Sukuna for that fight against that strong demon: that was an innate domain. Basically, an incomplete domain expansion, meaning moves are not guaranteed to hit and it is escapable, it just changed the terrain. Domain expansions create real, tangible environments that help the user within a small area. In episode 7 where Gojo uses his Domain, after he rips off Jogo's head you can see his domain dissipate afterward cause he released the technique. Hope you guys like the upcoming arc. :)

Mahito touched Sukuna's soul in the previous episode and Sukuna has warned him, don't dare touch his soul again. Since Mahito's technique is interfere other's soul, his domain is automatically touching people's soul when they get inside. So, Itadori getting in inside this domain means he automatically touch Sukuna's soul, that's why Sukuna got mad and attack Mahito. So it doesn't mean that if Itadori enters other's domain he would be okay too. It depends on Sukuna's mood tho, haha. P.S. Hope you guys enjoyed the trip, I hope I can go to LA someday :))))
