Soba is a dish that can be served either hot or cold (like his quirk and personality) And shoto specifically has a preference for the cold soba even though it can be served hot (showcasing his dislike for his father and preference for his mother) It's also worth nothing that quirks tend to bleed into your personality. Bakugo isn't exactly angry all the time (though he kind of is), he's really just explosive, like his quirk. Todoroki is half cold half hot, so he's passionate and fiery on the inside but also straight laced and icy on the outside.

2022-07-10 03:48:39 +0000 UTCwhat's always bothered me during this episode is when Todoroki starts going on to a flash back right as Midoriya takes off and is bouncing around like Gran Tarino, that he isn't like baffled about midoriyas vast improvement from the battle only a couple episodes ago. he just like yeah cool, but do y'all want to see another flash back of my mom real quick? he went from breaking his arms to jumping around like bakugo and the old guy within days of the match

2022-07-10 02:34:04 +0000 UTCKeep in mind that All Might "knows" and/or has a an assumption of who is making these Nomu's (which is confirmed the same person directing Shigaraki(hand boy)). This being said if he "knows" who it is I would assume he knows what they look like and would recognize if it is Endeavor (Enji Todoroki). Also Endeavors entire thing is that he payed off people to marry his wife purely to create a multi quirk user child. He wouldnt have to do any of this if he could just straight up give people quirks with his quirk.
