It’s a prequel but it’s really good and gives some more screen time to characters u already kno and some backstory on some characters that are about to show up in season 2.

2022-07-12 21:26:59 +0000 UTCThe one you didn't recognize is Kamo Noritoshi (eyes closed guy, will be introduced properly later) who is voiced by the same voice actor who voices Rengoku (Demon Slayer). Also there is another unintroduced character at the end of the episode when Mechamaru was thinking about his classmates (A tall blonde person, gender unknown). If you see that glimpse again, you will see them.

In the graph, the one who next to Nobara is Mai and under them is Maki and you will know the answer why they're (I mean the senior) recorded the rank to Maki like that when you continue watching it. For Yuji, I thought that because he is considering as a special grade because he's Sukuna vessel, but the graph is the rank of sorcerers. the reason why there's no Yuji there because they didn't recognize him as a sorcerer🥲 It my opinion anyway 😂😅
