@Jairius, like your first sentence isn't even technically correct, but it isn't stated what specifically the serum does, just that it will affect his memory. you could argue that the serum has something to do with this new ability, but it's far from confirmed at this point. plus, i don't think people are patrons just to have someone else explain it to them, we want them to figure it out for themselves, and if they don't then they don't.

Hey comment section, please refrain from answering questions that Ron & Michelle raises throughout their reactions. Uncertainty is what makes AOT an amazing rollercoaster and IT WILL address all of their questions in time. It's fine to correct some of the things they say that has ALREADY been addressed such as Michelle saying the serum only affects memory, but Grisha stated that it also contained the power, so that we can make it clear to them. As for their predictions and theories, let them make it and don't dismiss it or give any hints if it's right or wrong, let them ponder on it as they watch it all unfold on their own. This way, you guys won't accidentally spoil anything important. Leave the story for them to experience and let's just watch and appreciate their thoughts on it, it will be a bumpy ride but we're here for it. I dropped the show after watching ALL of season 1, I came back to it when season 3 dropped and decided to rewatch season 1 again, I was SO SURPRISED every episode, and I remembered SOME moments the same way Michelle reacted to them, there's no way she remembers very much after 6 years of not watching it 😭

So I don't think you were wrong about the serum. It sounds more like Doc was saying the serum would effect his memory but he could use that power, referring to the titan powers. First change might have been delayed due to his emotional state maybe?

This episode kinda confirms a few suspicions I had at the end of last episode, esp. With Ron reminding me of the dream. Almost certainly Eren is some sort of human/titan hybrid, I think Doc Jaeger was specifically experimenting with Titan DNA/biology, remember he wanted to show Eren something in a secret basement? But that also leads me to suspect Mikasa is ALSO a human/titan hybrid. Since Doc Jaeger was going for a regular check up. Could have been a normal thing BUT we've seen a few bits of her jolting with lightning and muscles bulging in moments of extreme emotion or need. Which leads me to the other suspicions that are a little looser: first that the colossal titan is, in fact, a hybrid. Suddenly appearing from a jolt of lightning, and disappearing in clouds of smoke/steam (like every other titan dying and Erens titan form after he came out of it). It's weird but for some reason I actually suspect Doc Jaeger of being the colossal, but then I assume Eren would have seen his father randomly outside the gate, maybe not. I also suspect at least one, if not more, of our already introduced characters are hybrids and possibly even know about and can control it. I'm thinking of blondy badass, no clue why, and probably one of the brothers from the mountain at LEAST. Last suspicion is there's gonna be a real level of "wgat does it mean to be human" in this, with Eren potentially doing a 180 and going full villain/anti humanity, not necessarily because of some hatred of them, maybe so. I dunno his story where he saved Mikasa, they lived in a relatively peaceful society, and this kid straight ganked people. Sounds villain origin story to me xD

You guys are so funny I can't XD at the end, Eren's Titan looks like that simply because he didn't have enough time/preparation to fully transform. It's the same Titan. He just didn't add skin, or muscles to the lower part since he only needed it/focused on his arm. That's why.

Michelle completely misread the part where he got injected.
