sad facts: the patch Levi handed to that soldier wasn’t his friend’s but actually Petra’s as it had been shown Levi went to the corpse with the hand biting-mark and took it but he handed it to the soldier to ease his feelings (that just shows how much Levi cares about his comrades) but do you know what’s the saddest part? Petra actually was in love with Levi and she was always mentioning him in her letters that her father went to confront Levi about that saying she is still young to get married, Levi is also aware of that and if you notice the details and his reactions towards Petra I’m confident to say she has a place in his heart even if not romantically Levi do care about her💔 ofc Levi cared about his whole squad but in my view Petra was special even her death was especially highlighted from the rest

S4 is 🔥🔥while S4 is 💣💣 but if I have to choose i’ll say S3 bc Levi is my favorite character S3 highlights not just Levi’s combat and physical abilities but also his intelligence and leadership skills the season will also show Levi’s past and go deeper into his character so you really can raise your expectations🤌🏻

That was petras scout patch, levi takes it earlier in the episode but gives it to dieter instead of keeping it for himself. Levi is actually extremely compassionate even if he doesnt seem like it at first

Also not sure if you guys are aware but Orou and Petra were engaged. Thats why Petra’s father mentioned her getting married when he talked to Levi. It’s also why Orou kept referencing to Petra being his wife when we’re first introduced to them. It makes rewatching even sadder.

You can see when Levi takes the patch he takes it from a body with a bite mark on their hand (as in someone from his squad). It was Petra’s and he gives it to the soldier and told him it was his friends instead 💔

Season 3 was my favorite, but this does not mean that season 1 is bad. In season 3 more pieces come together and I loved the twists and the action itself. Season 1 has slower pacing because it is normal given the complexity of the show. It relies a lot on laying the foundation, if you rewatch it after finishing season 4, you will look at characters' expressions or what they say and think to yourself "wow, this makes sense. how did I not see that?". also, Ron, I have a feeling you will change your profile to Levi no matter what, because Levi's action scenes get even better in the next seasons haha

Season 2 is the best for me. Has amazing moments/ twists and is paced really well. Season 3 Part 2 is very close to that also, really really good. Some episodes in season 3 have the highest ratings ever, even compared to regular tv shows. Season 3 part 1 is decent and season 4 is hit or miss for me, some really high highs but also some lows. But since you want to know if it gets better from season 1, I think ALL AoT fans will agree that at least until season 4 it gets INSANELY better, like it just keeps blowing your mind non stop. I dont think any AoT fan would disagree with that Edit: also heads up, on episode 25 of season one there is a very important after credits scene
