We have some quick news that we wanted to share for those who are interested.
We just launched a fun new tier called Shot of Sake where we will be taking requests for any Anime-related YouTube video that is 15 minutes or under. There is a limited number of seats for this tier as our primary focus is to get through our current shows so that we can start on new ones, but figured we can have a little fun and watch short anime related content :) Of course, we ask that the videos do not contain spoilers for any of the shows we are currently watching.
These reactions will be uploaded exclusively onto Patreon, but if we love the video you requested, we will upload our reaction onto YouTube and give you a personal shout out :) Kanpai!!!

2022-11-29 03:03:28 +0000 UTCIf someone has a request for a video that falls under all the things they just said in the comments plz tell me the only thing I could think of was amv videos but those are fights and 30sec that could contain a spoiler in a video request that could go up to 15 minutes is in my head just impossible so I literally don’t know what to request now need assistance ploz I have a ton of videos of anime that they won’t look at in the near future at all but those are still fight scenes and amazing and chillings moments in anime so my brain is overload right now

2022-11-29 01:50:33 +0000 UTCI agree with Mkj9u with this, we also feel it might be unfair for a show to be chosen based off of money, i think giving the people the power to vote on shows that are highly recommended and that we are interested in by their synopsis is the best fair play here. But i agree with you that there are a ton of anime content that have spoilers in them. it would have to be videos for things we've already caught up on (like that aot in 9 min video) or like openings/endings to shows we have no idea about and contain very brief spoilers. i also think there are a good amount of anime related content that don't have spoilers in them, for example i had a request for a video where it talked bout the pop culture easter eggs in chainsaw man intro or first takes to other anime songs

2022-11-29 01:49:25 +0000 UTCi get it but i dont see how you can give them anime content of something they never saw without spoiling them . feel like if they watch the first episode of different anime just to watch different style etc .. can be fun . dont have to finish it it's pretty clear. they can put it on the list if they feel like they might like it . etc .. but i see where u coming from.

2022-11-29 01:47:11 +0000 UTCwe put a cap of 15 min but we definitely can make exceptions to videos that are a few min over. we really put the cap because of timing purposes (we don't want to react to 30 minute videos) and it costs about $10 per 10 min of video editing

2022-11-29 01:43:29 +0000 UTCso we personally feel that if its content like the all op/eds of tokyo ghoul that we just did, where there are really light spoilers then that is fine as we don't really understand what is going on. plus we have pretty bad memory so by the time we watch the anime, we probably forgot about it. howeverrrr if its a really really big scene where its like 30 seconds long and its very memorable, then i think we will be spoiled by that.

We can send over videos to our mods (from discord) to help gauge whether or not something has spoilers

I know anyone could argue that there are spoilers in that video, BUT, as long as they don't analyze the sh*t out of it and/or watch it over and over again, even if they started reacting to the anime today, by the time they get to those parts, they won't remember/realize what's about to happen. Also, I believe it is put together in a way that creates maximum excitement factor w/o revealing at all what's going on. thoughts???
