His hairline got worse in the shot where he carried Eren back down from the mountain. I assume that he eventually just thought ef it, I'll shave it. Remember that Eren is 15 when he joins the scouts.

2022-12-06 21:20:52 +0000 UTCKeith was someone who eventually gave up on his aspirations because of the pressure, which just shows that not everyone is like or can be like an Erwin, Pixis or Hange - those who readily take up the mantle with self-confidence and lead humanity to progress. I loved how they made Keith such a believable and relatable character despite being this minor side character back in S1. What's great is that he had importance this whole time, we just didn't know it yet! Also loved that Eren appears to have come to terms with his past as well as being able to move forward confidently now thanks to what his mom said about him. He may not be "special" in the way he was thinking, but his mom certainly thought he was special simply because he was born. For the first time in a long time, Eren looked at peace with himself and it was a beautiful thing to see. It reminded me of his smile back in 3x09! And that ending with the twist of Keith purposely sabotaging Eren's gear but failing to prevent him from joining the military (in the end, he really couldn't change anything...he was a bystander after all), and Carla's monologue in general were all so well-executed! The ending credits and song coming in made it that much more emotional and uplifting! Just another fantastic episode all around!

(To wake him up) and he replies "because I was born in this world" before his dream burns up in flames and he wakes up Also I like how everyone calls Marlo a dumbass for not recognizing hitch's feelings for him except for Eren who agrees because he also is oblivious to Mikasa's feelings/too focused on his goal of freedom. Guess it makes sense since theyve already mentioned multiple times how Marlo reminds people of Eren.
