Given that the Nanami’s VA also voiced Kishibe it has always cracked me up that this blond mentor DOES prefer to be called ‘sensei’ (…yeah, Nanami def did not haha). I don’t know if that was a bit tongue in cheek or what or the writing just coincided that way 🤣

It's just that up to this point, each of these people are just work acquaintances. He hasn't formed true bonds with anyone as he's too focused on what he considers is important: food and boobs. At least he left Aki an apple and didn't barge in for his manga while the dude was having a cry.
