For real. Sadly, not everyone has the same luxury of time. I was lucky to be able to rewatch S1 over 35+ times while waiting for Season 2 to drop. With that knowledge I've had, my emotion was off the roof when watching S4. It's incredible how it all tied up together.

Just as a note, when Eren touched the titan on the way to the sea he didn't have powers to "feel" what the titan was feeling. He just knows all the titans that were sent to the walls were his own race of people punished for existing. He went from wanting to kill all of the titans to realizing they've been fighting their own people the whole time. Man. I love this show so much

Floch is also literally S1 Jean when Jean confronted Eren in front of everyone, about if he really can control his titan powers or if it was true that he almost killed Mikasa. Jean then even argued that if they are to protect Eren, they deserved to know and decide if it was worth it. It's basically the same here though a lot more aggressive on Floch's part lol. I love the parallels between the two though!

According to Isayama, the difference is between Eren and Armin and the sea is that Armin wanted to go see it to prove that it exists but Eren never really cared about the sea at all, he just wanted to have the FREEDOM to be able to see it. This is why when theyre at the sea Armin is amazed that hes been correct this whole time, but for Eren the sea now just represents a bridge between him and more enemies. He's realizing that all of the horrible things he's seen in his dad's memories are what the world really is. "If we kill all of our enemies over there, will we finally be free?" Such a great scene, probably the most important in the entire series, its just done so well
