When talking about who’s right and wrong, one thing i always come back to is; the people in the walls (Eren, his family etc) didn’t do anything to anyone. They were just attacked by Annie, Reiner, and Burrito out of nowhere. They didn’t even understand why they were being attacked. It just happened. So they are not in the wrong for anything.

THAT'S NOT A SPOILER (the scene with the front of his face is an actual reveal): I mean, honestly, it's not even shocking/surprising it's Eren. If someone didn't actually expect it to be Eren at that scene, then idk. 1. You can hear the voice actor. 2. You can see the animation revolving around him (at least i feel like it). 3. They wouldn't put a random scene where Falco talks with stranger. 4. The way 'the soldier' speaks about his experiences with metaphores etc. + all of it is relatable to Eren's situation.

Yeah, that 4 year war with the other country started some time after Zeke and Reiner returned to Marley. And I believe it was said at the start of this season by both Zeke and Magath that the war started because Marley was weakened with the loss of both the Colossal and Female Titan. Honestly, I'd wouldn't be surprised because Marley does seem to like to bully other countries and with two of their main titans out, it's not hard to believe other countries would see this as an opportunity to attack. And sadly, as seen by this episode and the past few episodes, Reiner's basically a broken shell of a man at this point. He's got a few years left until he gets eaten, and he's literally just wasting away his days. If not for Marley's brainwashing and how the world is towards Eldians, Reiner would've otherwise been just a normal, honest, kind, and upstanding guy. His attempted suicide scene hit so hard for me. He just looked so dead inside... Also, one detail I wanted to point out! Bertholdt's weird sleeping positions were confirmed by Isayama to be the result of him constantly having nightmares because of the resulting PTSD and guilt he felt from his actions. Him saying how he kept dreaming about the old man hanging himself shows the haunting effect that he had on Bertholdt. Because of the wall that HE broke, that resulted in the guy's 3 kids dying and as a result, he hung himself shortly after. Those deaths he caused materialized in his dreams through his sleeping positions. In the position resembling that of the tarot card "The Hanged Man" no less! It's honestly a bit crazy how those weird sleeping positions we heard Jean and Connie mention here and there before were unknowingly about Bertholdt having nightmares lol.
