Reactors are watching several shows a day and only one or 2 episodes of each anime every few days, so the memory is a bit different and harder to remember specifics of every character of every show. people dont really realize how different the watching experience is when you are reacting. This is not a shot at you, but just a comment to your point! I think you are 100% correct.
