He is a teacher of the school and teacher-in-charge/advisor of the Volleyball club. He is just as an important character in the anime. Also, you may dislike Tsukishima(glasses blonde guy) now but sooner or later, you will know how good and lovely Tsukki actually is and can't help but love him. And you guys have heard the voice actor in MHA, JJK and Demon Slayer. Many have already told you in the comments anyway.

For example, Hinata and Tsukishima have those opposite characteristics just like sun and moon, and they can shine because there’s a great setter (kageyama) helping them in the shadow, and also a solid foundation for what Daichi does. You could pay attention to these metaphors for the following episodes, and the show will be on another level if you notice that. Like your reactions!!
