I'm not talking about Ron and Michelle but there are others out there who do so. Maybe because I'm those 'old people' who have been watching anime for ages, but I've learned not to judge characters too quickly and since I know they usually would have a backstory to why they are that way.

You can say Oikawa is your favorite but just end it at that. Let them decide how they want their initial reactions to be and then we can view their genuine opinions change rather than them already expecting to like a particular character.

By saying "not to judge a character to quicky" indicates a reveal that they should experience with no prior knowledge of.

I'm not stopping them to feel how they would meeting Oikawa for the first time but just telling them not to judge a character too quickly in this wholesome anime. They can still share their views and opinion. I just hope they can enjoy and view all the characters in Haikyuu with an all clear broad perspective and mindset. Cheers!
