2023-01-26 00:57:19 +0000 UTCI don't think it's necessary for us to see the same subtitles (especially considering many of us have seen this show enough times to know what they're saying) if it's only going to make it more difficult to edit the videos due to copyright and make it harder for them to get the videos out to us. I think the important thing is knowing THEY are getting the accurate subtitles

Something which threw me off was when the translation used the word "Midget" and Ron had repeated it (verifying that its some 3rd party translation). I play a lot of online games and that term is not very politically correct (PC). Considering their growth both on Patreon and the Youtube channel, they should be more aware. I cross referenced with Crunchy Roll @7:00 min and the term used there is "Shrimp". Obviously nothing to blame them for, but, it may not sit well for some viewers. I only say this for their sake, and also to highlight how poorly managed these subtitles can be.

Sure they get the overall meaning across, but, I feel like the ones on mainstream anime streaming services make the viewing experience much better. Is there a reason why the are opting for these? Nothing against your guys reaction, still 10/10. I am just curious!

2023-01-24 03:08:20 +0000 UTCI think there are different ways to interpret what Kindaichi said but and I do think he was being "nice" in his own way - he didn't want either of them to apologize cause that would in a sense would mean they admit they were BOTH in the wrong and he wants to maintain the same relationship to fuel his rivalry. However when Kageyama said "WE will win" Kindaichi realizes that Kageyama has already changed and in that way Kageyama has already beat him.

Anyway, great reaction you guys, stoked that you've met our Guardian Diety, the Libero. Some of the HYPEST moments come from his plays. He's one of the many many reasons fans affectionately call this show Hype-kyu

Typically libero's (the defensive player) are shorter since they don't spike or jump. Love his character so much.
