I don't understand why you think the predecessors will take over their brain...? The only ones that get influenced by the king wishes are those who have the founder titan and are from royal family (it's been said), because it was his vow, but the other ones, have never shown any sign of that, they have the predecessors memories, and maybe with that and the feelings they get, they are able to take some decisions based on all those different perspectives, but I hardly doubt that any of that takes over their brain =)

They're not as invincible as before, and when planes are finally invented, that would spell the end for titan usefulness. The founding titan has the ability to wake MILLIONS of COLOSSAL titans that are sleeping inside the walls, in other words, it has the ability to destroy the world at anytime. So no it's not naive to think that when they have the founder they would literally save the world.

In Willy’s speech he talked about how king fritz actually wanted peace and would be ok with the downfall of the eldians if it happened hence the vow renouncing war but Eren isn’t of royal blood so he isn’t bound by those beliefs.

The rest of the world thought that the fritz/reiss family was still in possession of the founding titan and that they could release the wall titans at any time. Not knowing that the king wanted peace and that he made a vow renouncing war. When willy tybur told the public this during his speech, people started asking why are we so damn afraid of the island. Then willy tybur revealed that the world is again in great danger since eren now has the founding titan and he is not bound by the vow renouncing war and that he once used the power of the founding titan without them knowing how since he isn't royal.

As far as why Marley wants the founding titan, it’s mostly to keep it out of the hands of the royal bloodline. Zeke and historia are the ones with royal blood, so if Marley has it, it’s pretty much useless but at least it can’t be used against them

Some people know better and skipped or averted their eyes. Regardless, it’s a simple problem. If they are ok with being spoiled, watch it. If they want to go in completely blind, skip it. Not a big deal either way. And in regards to OPs “being apart of the show and meant to be there”, OPs are generally meant to get the viewer hyped up, in the mood and interested/invested. It’s a “hook”. If you already feel that way towards a show there’s no necessity to watch an OP, ESPECIALLY an AoT OP which are famous for being quite spoilery.
