He also saw Reiner literally get on his knees in front of Eren to apologize and begged for death. Can't really say much more than that. Gabi only knew what she was taught about them and her first experience with them was Eren attacking her hometown. Killing two of her friends. Liike, I would agree with you if she was an adult, but she's a child. She doesn't have the life experience to really question what she's been taught. Sure she has an ego. She's a prideful person. But, once again, she's a child. Ego, pride, etc, are things you learn to manage as an adult (hopefully, lol). But even as a child, if you ACTUALLY face the truth of the lies you've been taught.. eventually there's no denying it. But yeah, if she was an adult I would think her character is shit because it wouldn't take an adult that long to realize.

2023-02-02 23:38:56 +0000 UTChaving the high ground gives Zeke a huge advantage because he can cover everyone, especially himself and Eren, from any threat. you saw how quickly Zeke turned the tables once he showed up because he had that high ground which compliments his style of fighting. going down to meet Eren is to lose that advantage and could cost them the battle. Eren is "slow" to heal because he took 2-3 anti-titan shots to the head while fighting against Reiner and Gilliard, and using the War Hammer Titan abilities at the same time.

We saw how devastating the Cart's Cannon was against Eren, and Zeke would be at a disadvantage against the Armored and the Jaw in a close quarters fight. Zeke had to stay up top to allow Eren to get close, or he'd end up dead too.

He revealed his true intentions by saying, "We've got no other choice. Only Zeke and Eren can save the world! We gotta help the Jaegerists bring them together!" If he was on board with the plan initially he wouldn't of worded it that way. He would of said something along the lines of, "Let's go help Eren and Zeke fulfill the plan!" The conclusion I've come to as to why Eren is so tired and not healing is because he's using the Warhammer Titan powers which take a LOT of energy to use to create all those spikes and stuff. But the main and last thing I want to talk about is Gabi. (My favorite character after Reiner.) What beautiful story writing of a character. I know she was difficult to handle for a lot of people because of her stubbornness and how she just wouldn't listen, but we have to remember how brainwashed she was. How she was taught to believe the people of Paradis Island were Devils who's sins could never be atoned for. She was taught of the atrocities they committed. That her race was a filthy race. That becoming an Honorary Marleyan would have her accepted by the Marleyan people. It made it so difficult for her to accept that everything she was taught was a lie. So when she finally says the line, "There weren't any devils. On this island, there were just people.", it hits SO much different because you KNOW she TRULY understands. It's not like she just had one encounter and was like, "Oh, I was wrong. There weren't any Devils here." She was put through so many trials that tested her beliefs and it finally became too much to deny. Also, you guys never gave up on Gabi and I loved that about you two. So many people were just like, "Fuck this character." But you two always had hope for her.

But then when they were on the roof, he said that they had no choice and would have to help Eren, thereby showing that he was crying in an act (fake cry). This pissed off Elena, but then she remembered that he was a colossal titan and "nicely" asked them to help Eren. I could be wrong)

Zeke waiting longer to go down was because of safety reasons. He is a better target for cart and thunderspears down there. Up there, he just got shot because of the pieck trap.
