Thus the greater strength relative to their size and durability, as well as their ability to "activate" and inherit the combat knowledge of all past Ackermans. So no, they are not a different race. And about transfusing spinal fluid from an Ackerman to someone who turned to a pure titan, I think it would be like a transfusion between different species, because regular humans and subject of Ymir are soo different in their biology thanks to the otherworldly parasite or whatever that is xD.

2023-02-08 18:29:28 +0000 UTCThe history is true, but it was also a lie for years that all paradis were devil spawn trying to destroy the world. Marley constantly pushed away peace. One of the Kings descendants used the founding titan to make the walls and changed all Eldians memories. He then let them live their lives in ignorance that the world had perished and told the other nations he would use the rumbling should they come and try to stop his vow of peace. Peace was an option here. They could have left paradis alone in the dark with no info. If Eren inherited the founding after 13 years and there was no attack from Marley, no wall destruction, no Carla. I feel things could have been very different. A potential chance at peace. But sadly Marley is hell bent on making Paradis extinct. Even with them oblivious and not leaving the Island for the forseeable decade they chose to try and crush paradis. This is partially why I feel I am a Yeagerist. For one, I just feel like I'd pick my family over someone elses in a death situation. Additionally, even if Zekes plan worked, I have high doubts Marley would stop attacking and leave them alone for 80-90 years until extinction. Armin, Eren, Zeke. 3 titans. A new one every 13 years. Atleast 6 generations of titans each in that 80 years. Thats a total of 18 different people. Marley would never allow that to exist still out of fear of an attack. So I feel despite a bit extreme, Eren did what he had to. Or what he thought was the best safety option for his friends and people.

What Iâm trying to say is that heâs a good person at heart, but heâs just a little boy who knows nothing about any solution to save his and his beloved onesâ freedom. Letâs put ourselves in Erenâs shoes, if youâve seen a terribly horrific scenes about things that you were gonna do in the future, which means just like what Grisha said those events have already been decided and happening which means thereâs no changing them, would you be able to talk to anyone? If yes, who? He tried to talk to Historia if youâve watched the whole episodes, but NO ONE is giving him any other solution except blaming him for thinking that way, she told him that itâs wrong and sheâs gonna try to stop him by using reason and logic, which he already knew and thought about + like I said itâs in the future and thereâs no way of changing it and since he saw everything in the future, he saw his âfriendsâ way of dealing with it, no one is offering a new solution they just want to stop. Letâs say he planned to talk to Armin, heâs gonna try to convince him to talk and negotiate like always which he have already seen happening and failing doing so because the Marleyans refused to give a chance to talk. What if he discussed this with Mikasa? He knows pretty well sheâll be at his back even if she tries to stop him, heâll be able to convince her because thatâs how theyâve been since childhood, she advices and he continues with his stubbornness sometimes, why would he put such burden on someone he cares about so deeply when he can carry it alone? Whoâs left? Levi? Heâs gonna beat the hell out of him because Levi also cares about them somehow and will try to stop him again WITH NO ALTERNATIVE. Theyâre stopping him with both arguments âletâs negotiate with themâ which he tried and âletâs just make a test rumbling and theyâll be afraidâ which is an irrational option because as we all know the world already had the technology to go against a bunch of titans, till the near future wouldnât they try to have advanced technologies to eliminate the rumbling once and for all? I know itâs wrong making such decisions alone but he knew his friends and close ones and knew how good they are, they wouldnât be able to do anything else just like him and heâll end up burdening them. Itâs all because of the point I told you about above âTHERE IS NO OTHER SOLUTIONâ if there is he either would have tried doing it or thought about it, he even did not start his attack in Liberio until Willy declared war at the end of his speech, he was prepared yes, he had everything planned yes, but wasnât gonna do anything until the world, again, tried to attack them. Itâs a matter of killing or being killed situation.

At least if Eren had a means to discuss with the others on the Island he wanted to protect I can somewhat come to terms with your argument. But the fact that he had this plan to start with, told no one about it and decided to go ahead with this is what throws me off from Eren. No one person should make a decision like that regardless of how much power they have.

However, the same questions could be asked do you believe that if they got rid of this âraceâ, there would be no wars? Marley itself was invading and conquering and destroying other nations waaay before Eren showed up and thatâs just an example. The division and corruption will occur in any place rolled by humans, thatâs a human nature to be bad or good. Their race shouldnât have been existed, but they are here now, and you and others are saying they could be punished that way because theyâre born this way. Itâs not their fault! Itâs like youâre saying Hitler had the right to kill all the Jews because in his eyes their âraceâ or people have no right to live no matter what they did or didnât do! That's no justification for mass genocide. Even if he kill everyone but his homeland people, then do you not think there will be division? What if some one who is opposed to Eren (a form of restorationist) gains power of one of the Titians and the Great Titan Wars happen again, and now there's a new divide amongst Eldians. For me the root cause is a cursed race. This race was never meant to be in existence to begin with. It was an unnatural phenomenon. Zeke's plan is to get rid of this power which has only caused unjust to both the people wielding it and to those that are harmed by it. No correct option, but definitely a more moral one.

Kenny is talking to his dad (or grandfather⌠canât remember) and is told that the Ackermanâs were immune to the effects of the Founder because they were given the power of the titans in human form to protect the king. I took this to mean that they are completely immune to all effects of the titans (canât transform cause they technically already are once their powers awaken, canât have their memories wiped, etcâŚ). However, we see that Mikasa can hear Erenâs speech, so thatâs an inconsistency. TLDR; Ackerman blood is confusing.

Yes, a mass genocide is definetively wrong, but what Eren does right now is fighting back to survive. Zekeâs Euthanasia plan wouldnât really stop the world to attack Paradis. So Eren basically fights back because he chose to fight instead of doing nothing and getting killed. Remember his philosophy of beeing free because people born into this world. He doesnât want to give up his freedom and fights back, knowing that genocide is wrong. Letâs be honest, did the world ever gave Eren and all the other people in Paradis an opportunity to freely live? Yeah.. pretty fucked up situation owed to the cruelty of the world and its people.

2023-02-07 23:21:15 +0000 UTCThe anime skipped over this important detail for some reason so it's not a spoiler, but the Ackermans are a result of titan experimentation on Eldians. They are no longer "true Eldians" due to their bloodline being experimented with and altered. They are a clan who possess the power of a titan but in human form, which is why Levi, Mikasa and Kenny are all super strong. Since they're basically "hybrid" titans they can still connect to the paths, but they can not be turned into Titans and their memories can't be erased. For example, if Eren wanted to erase all eldians minds about the rumbling, the Ackermans would be immune. The full scope of the Ackermans was never really expanded upon how many would have liked, so a lot of stuff is left to assumption. However, by putting the pieces together you can form some sort of concrete evidence. Hope this helps!!

From that point on Marley still pressed on trying to get the king to attack humanity so the marleyans and the rest of the world have an excuse to eradicate eldians and take paradis resources.

I'm still not sure exactly how, but Marley got 7 of the 9 while they were fighting themselves during the great titan war. The king took some eldians and left because he didn't like the fighting. That's as much as I picked up in my first 5 times watching

2023-02-07 19:53:20 +0000 UTCThe Eldian Empire DID tyrannize and conquer the whole world, I believe it was explained in Willy Tyburs speech and referenced a couple other times. The reason they ended up fighting each other is for that exact reason, their was nothing else to conquer so the struggle for power started from within Eldia and thus spawned the Great Titan War where the families of all the shifter owners essentially were killing each other to try and claim top dog. An important thing to remember is that if only 1 race/empire/whatever is left that doesn't stop hate/violence which unforunately are just part of human nature.

You guys are gonna LOVE the opening. Also, the show doesnât expand much on what occurs after Ymirâs children eat her, itâs assumed that they just grew up and had children themselves, and the powers were dispersed that way. As for your question on âWhy didnât they just trample the world back then?â One of the descendants of the OG King Fritz, which is the one with Ymir, was the one to make that whole âvow of peaceâ thing that the Reiss family had to abide by. Since Rose, Sina, and Maria were all children of Ymir, a slave, I assume those children were also slaves and followed in their motherâs footsteps in not disobeying their father, and thus didnât go destroying everything (even though they very well could have, they were literally Titans lol)

Heâs wanted Freedom! Itâs not that he changed itâs more that his idea of freedom expanded. Think about it. Eren wanted to kill all the titans because they stopped him from seeing outside the walls/having freedom. Then when he found out there is a whole other race/people out there that wanted to continue the same thing and kill his family/the people on Paradis only made his idea of freedom expand into killing his enemies because well he wants to be free and not have to worry about titans/humans ruining that freedom. Heâs been that way since Armin had shown him the book.
