But this anime is not for all to understand. Yes, some episodes are disgusting and hard to watch in season 1, but once you get rid of that this anime is a masterpiece.

They are already feeling kind of weird about the fan service in Food Wars, where the characters are both at least the same age and they are drawn way more adult-like. Whereas in Mushoku you have a fully grown man perving around as Rudeus. I imagine that would make them wholly uncomfortable and don't believe they are desensitized enough to anime.

"Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?" is also something I really recommend for really good fantasy but it isn't an Isekai I believe. Don't make assumptions by its name tho coz I know what it sounds like its gonna be, but it's waayyy better xD. With a season 2 hot on the way, it would be a very good time to start the first season once you wrap up some of these other shows you are watching

Parasyte is seinen btw so it’s anime geared towards a older audience (Berserk is in this genre) Also 86 would probably be considered mecha since there’s robots. The main character in Mushoku Tensei isn’t very likable, (definitely don’t agree with his actions) especially in the beginning, but that’s sorta the point, to watch him grow as a person. So I’d try not to let that deter you from watching a really good isekai (but if it’s not for you then that’s understandable too)

That being said, the story and animation is fantastic. I also personally like that they added the uncomfortable parts to the series, because it adds more depth to the characters.

Amazing watch. S2 for this anime comes out this summer. And this anime is confirmed to have several other seasons after S2, so it’s gonna be a long amazing journey to watch.

But it gets kinda messy and a bit boring in S2, it's trying too hard to be complicated. It's in the #top5isekai definitely, but Mushoku, Tensura, are animes made with passion too, but they're complex, yet easy to understand. Re:Zero has top tier music, neither animes i mentioned have so much good OPs/EDs and OSTs (soundtrack is like Hiroyuki Sawano level, almost).
