The creator of Naruto admitted in an interview in 2010 that he hated Sakura as a character and intentionally wrote her in a way that would make the fandom annoyed with her as well. So, basically us Naruto fans were kind of robbed of a promising character that she could have been because of misogyny. And this happens with more than one woman character too (Ino, Ten Ten, Hinata, etc) so try not to hate on her too much. She is only working within the parameters of her character as she was created by the author, a male.

2023-02-09 19:25:12 +0000 UTCI love Naruto because each character has such a unique strong backstory which helps develop strong emotions for all of the characters. They really take their time to help strengthen the characters personalities. This is why everyone has a specific character they can relate to and root for. It also makes fights so much more hype. For me personally it is Guy Sensi (Rock Lee's Teacher). Sakura's character is one that I've made my fair share of jokes on back in the day. I will say she has made my skin boil at certain points throughout the series (won't spoil anything), but she also has her moments. I think the creators sort of put her on the back burner for most of the show, mainly focusing on naruto and sasuke. Regardless, I love this show and each character. I have seen Naruto/Shippuden almost 5 times now. Will forever stay in my heart. Also, sadness and sorrow OST = 😭😭😭
