The fight scenes are great, and the parts that fuck with your brain are really good. I stopped watching halfway through Alicization, but that's only because I got tired of waiting for more episodes to release. I'm sure it's good nonetheless though.

2023-02-10 17:47:47 +0000 UTCI remember watching rezero is loving it so much but after rewatching it, the storytelling is told in a horrid and extremely confusing way… u guys r watching AOT and already having a hard time understanding that show, which is understandable. Rezero is AOT, except never having any of ur questions answered at all throughout the show. I hate how the story is told because u start to forget all these mysteries and plot points because there’s too much questions left unanswered. Horrible way of telling a story. And imo the show has veryyy cringy and corny dialogue and scenes that sometimes makes me question am I watching a degenerate soap opera or an actual isekai anime 😂😂😂🤷🏽♂️. Even thinking this about the show, I still love it and can’t wait for S3 and hopefully they answer some questions

He's still a kid and was thrown into that world. And has to figure out things for himself, Re Zero helped me when I was in a depressed spot in life. If I was in his shoes I'd probably do much much worse. He's a weak but strong character at the same time.

I think Fairy Tail, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and more recently The Eminence in Shadow are overrated as well, to name a few. Just mentioning anime in their totality, not specific seasons (SAO season 2, for example).

2023-02-10 16:09:20 +0000 UTCI get that the point of the show is to show the psychological struggle of a person who has a power like Subaru's, how that struggle leads to growth, and how it's a very different spin on the typical isekai, but the storytelling, character interactions and decision-making of the MC is very mediocre imo. The only redeeming quality of the show is Rem.

Although Alicization is good aswell, not as good as S1, because there's not that much tension, less character development etc. but the atmosphere of fantasy world is back, and actually better.

Plus too much mystery and unanswered shit in the show that its impossible to follow 90% of the time LMAO. its like AOT if they never gave u answers to any of the 30 thousand questions u have for the show in the beginning lol. Thats what makes Rezeros direction to storytelling unbearable a lot of the time. U legit needed LIGHT NOVEL readers to explain to u why this was this and why this happened here🤦🏽♂️😂 The show legit gives u 50 questions in the very beginning and then it'll answers like two of the questions in the next few eps, but then those answers u just receive and understood gives u 10 more questions.... 😂 At this point u gonna forget the plot points, certain scenes, and overall the story in its self. Bad way of telling a story

Which I found to be a lot of fun during AOT. The first am has some great anime in it too. People trash on sword art online a lot but it has a lot of amazing moments in it. And alicization season was top tier for me along with season 1.
