While on the other side, Floch is the meaning of “an oppressed weakling with power in hand” he’d do anything and kill anyone with no hesitation to reach his goal (which in this case is restoring Eldia since he’s a die-hard patriot) Floch said it once that the world needs a devil and and that time he meant Erwin when he wanted him back, but now he’s following the devil in his eyes which is Eren. He doesn’t care about either of them as long as he reaches his homeland

All the eldians around the world are probably about to get stomped out. And eren himself has said numerous times that he cares about his own little group (main scouts/levi squad) more than anyone else. I could be wrong about this but I don’t think eren really cares about the rest of the people on the island if they die or not. It just so happens they were born there and he’s protecting the island imo. So with that being said if i’m a regular person on the island who isn’t that close to eren im going to be pissed if my family got caught up in this.

I just thought the rumbling was a depiction of the threat, and to me it was just like every other AoT opening full of titans. For Annie, I mean it was obvious she would come back at some point...plus the opening just shows every titan shifter (including Bertholdt) so I never thought too much of it. Eren's titan form in the eye is definitely a spoiler but I didn't even realize it was there until after finishing the season and pausing on the frame. As long as you don't overanalyze the opening and watch it to get yourself hyped for each episode like I did, then there really isn't much chance of spoiling. I mean, AoT is impossible to predict as it is. I just think it takes away from the experience to avoid the opening but oh well.

Before the manga ended, from the interviews of the author you could tell he's changed as a person, got soft and had other motivations for the story such as pleasing the fans which he stated many times. He even included his friend in choosing the ending! That's how messed up the process of ending AoT was. And all he had to do is just be true to himself from the past and write the original true ending... We only know that it was brutal and nobody wins.

Let's put it in the context of Attack on Titan. I will preface this by saying that I'm not someone who watches a show and tries to disect every little bit of information or detail that's given. I'll think over some things, for sure, but I won't try and figure out the story before the story's even been told. So maybe that's why I don't get "spoiled". I'll just refer to the most recent opening of the season we're on. The one with the, "Rumbling", song. When I watched it nothing was spoiled for me. Like, I see them depicting the rumbling but I never just ASSUMED that because the opening showed it that it was going to happen. I just know it's a huge threat to the world so I didn't find it surprising that they would depict it. They show Annie in the opening but that wasn't a spoiler to me because we all knew she was coming back. They show a glimpse of Eren's Titan in his eye but nobody outside of the manga readers would EVER come to the conclusion that that's what that was. They show Reiner and Eren fighting.. but we all knew that was going to happen from the previous season's ending. I could go on but I just wonder for those of you that are telling them not to watch the openings or endings until "x" episode, do you REALLY find these to be spoilers? A spoiler to me is like, knowing someone is a Titan shifter before the show tells you they are. Something like seeing Annie in the opening is just like, "Oh yeah, that makes sense she'd be back." It's not like, "Oh great! Now I know Annie is back. Fml!" At least not for me. I just wonder what you guys think. Edit: Not trying to stir shit, btw. I just genuinely want to understand.
