The rumbling would benefit Paradis so much because not only is the treat of humans gone so are the threat a titans and they can't drop the walls and expand across the world and start a world of only Eldians

I’m not defending anyone here, it’s just that Annie trying to be the “hero” here while she’s the one who crushed people with her own hands with no regret or hesitation, but now that the role serves her wish, she’s trying to put Eren in the devil position while taking a seat with the angels when she’s (in my opinion) the furthest character to be one

2023-02-15 00:21:44 +0000 UTCthis is a reasonable take and its one armin held as well. he clearly believed using a small scale rumbling to destroy the global alliance in marley was an appropriate response, and supported eren when he thought (hoped) it was his plan. but the scale eren is planning on is ridiculous and indefensible. i really like eren too, and it feels in his character to do something like this, which is both scary and interesting.

That'll buy them at least a few decades of time to regroup and find a long term solution. Stopping him before that would be some stockholm syndrome BS if you ask me. Genocide is wrong but self defense is not.

2023-02-14 23:07:02 +0000 UTCA lot of people seem to think so but I don’t agree. He would’ve never allowed this situation to escalate to this point — he’s a negotiator and tactician. IMO Armin and Hange aren’t up to par with Erwin and so they weren’t able to come up with a plan in those 4 years unfortunately. I feel that if anything, he would’ve supported the partial rumbling and had someone else eat Eren in order to figure out a different plan in the meantime.
