Haikyuu!! S1 Ep 17

Oops our editor mispelled Ron's middle name lol. It's Kutaka! Kutaka-san~!!!

Comments

I know this was a while ago but for the last names it would be fun if you guys looked into last names because there is a guy I know who's parents just merged their last names to make his- who's to say that yall can't just choose both family's last names like hyphenated or something

paws_pau

loved the "Sushi Squad even *seagull call* it" at 3:53

Kutaka.....Ku-chan?? 🤔Kuta-kun!!

iCEEkai

I honestly can't remember since you guys have hundreds of videos and I watch them all D:

Yumaaa

Rekindling the fire this episode gave me when I first watched it and seeing you guys reacting just like this too is why I subbed to your Patreon in the first place, loving it!!!

Harrave

Aww thank you so much for this Kimberly! SO happy you feel that way, bc we truly feel like we are watching with all of you. When that camera goes on we enter the Sushi Squad world where we are all sitting in a room together!

Michelle Lam

I really love watching you guys! It makes me wanna cry. I can feel your energy and it makes me mad happy!!!!! I always see Haikyuu as my comfort show and it feels like I have shared with you a piece of my life hahahahaha! Your reactions are so relatable. I was cheering and shouting alone in my room every time I watch the matches. ♥ i really am glad to be with you on this ride!

Kimberly Bautista

Subbed to your patron for episode 18. I'm waiting ~

Jasper Tan

She putting out the whole government name on my guy Ron 🤣

Vuki

Almost every character gets to shine in an episode and there is just hardly any character that you will not love after watching the episode highlighting a certain character. This is just the first round against Dateko. More is to come and funny how Ron noticed Aone(no eyebrows guy)[his name is pronounced as Ow(l)-oh-neh] has not said a word and will Ron ever see Aone speak in the show~ we will see~~ ;D

Phyllis

KLUB is a goat.

Michelle Lam

Dammmm do you know what episode that was? Yah, we have had to correct him a few times recently. Unfortunate. Idk if he is just getting more busy, but seems to be rushing on our content. Sorry you all!

Michelle Lam

HAHAHA

Michelle Lam

LETS GO! Thats dope!

I love how I have seen the entirety of this show so many times yet I always get so hyped for each game. I know exactly what going to happen LOL, but it still give me emotions and goosebumps.

LandMarkMetal

Great comment! Another thing is that the setter is only allowed to attack from the front, so once Kageyama is playing back he will move up to the net but will not dump or spike. Liberos are not allowed to set with their fingers (like a set by a setter) once they cross the front line because they are not allowed to attack at all.

Duna

LOL Ron in 2.08 reminds me of Tendo(in shiratorizawa) ***pls don’t search for who is Tendo cuz you will see him someday 😂

NAID

This show literally improves my well-being. Thank you for reacting to it haha.

shouvik das

First white haired character Michelle is scared of? 😅

I disagree with your remark "He's the only player who could be fast enough." The way their freak quick works is that Hinata jumps as fast and as high as he can and just swings his hand. Kageyama brings the ball perfectly to his hand. So Hinata doesn't have to synchroniza with the ball. The reason Kageyama's fast toss is connecting now is because Kageyama has changed his own perspective by trying to bring the ball directly to his hands. And also because Hinata is able to trust Kageyama and just swing without synchronizing. That is super hard too because normal people just end up trying to find the perfect timing with the ball and swing, not just swing no matter where the ball is right now.

Prateek Sridhar

A usual set is a slow-ish one (in comparison to Hinata & Kageyama atleast), and it allows the spiker to synchronize with the toss. So if a blocker sees where the set is going and jump there, he can move towards blocking hit. However with the freak duo, their zoom toss is very fast as Hinata doesn't need to synchronize, and the ball gets spiked pretty much the movement it left Kageyama's hands. That's why the blockers couldn't even flinch at first xD

Prateek Sridhar

Kageyama's second quick with Hinata is probably the second best set of the entire series. The guy literally ran behind, to the back of the court, because Nishinoya's receive was off, and was able to match Hinata from that super awkward position, where Hinata was just searching for open spaces, which keeps changing at every point in time. Genius through and through I'd say.

Silvers Rayliegh

Doesn't this episode just make your heart beat faster?

botanbutton

Hinata is older than Kageyama, Hinata is 16 an Kageyama is 15 even though they are in the same year. 😅🤣😅🤣

Legoshi

I'm definitely going to reference this a lot. Thanks!

NakoaX

That squeal from Ron when Michelle wanted to rewind at the start…I’m wheezing😂

Fola Omotola

You've watched this show too much my dude lol

Yumaaa

In case you guys are curious, here's the positions of every karasuno starter, and their roles in a match: Left Wing-Spiker: Asahi and Tanaka. - When they are in the Front-row: They focus on attacking and blocking on the left side of the net. Usually the most talented spikers play on this position, since it's usually they who have to deal with slow sets, which leads to triple blockers. - When they are in the Back-row: They focus on defending the center of the court, where they are most ready for a back-attack, like Asahi just did. Right Wing-Spiker: Daichi. - When they are in the Front-row: They focus on attacking and blocking on the right side of the net. - When they are in the Back-row: They focus on defending the right side of the court, where they are most ready for a back-attack. Setter: Kageyama. - When they are in the Front-Row: Primarly they focus on setting, but they also focus on blocking on the right side of the net, since the right wing-spiker will not be there, because of how the rotation works. - When they are in the Back-Row: Primarly they focus on setting, but they also focus on defending the right side of the court, since the right wing-spiker will not be there, because of how the rotation works. Middle-Blocker: Hinata and Tsukishima. - When they are in the Front-row, they have 2 main jobs: - Blocking: Since they are at the center, they can participate in every block(center, left or right), that's why this positions is usually played by the tallest players. - Attacking: Because they are in the middle, any slower set leads to a triple block, so middle-blockers almost exclusively attack using quick-attacks, which usually leads to a one-person block from the enemy middle-blockers. - When they are in the Back-row: They only play the back row when it's their turn to serve, once they stop serving, they switch out with the Libero. Libero: Nishinoya - When they are in the Front-row: They imediatly switch out with a Middle-blocker, since Libero's are not allowed in the front-row. - When they are in the Back-row: They specialize in defending the left side of the court, where usually comes the hardest hits from the enemy main spiker (Left Wing-Spiker).

Luís

Don't forget the fact that quite a few times they still have the music playing once the anime starts... Once it went on for like half the damn episode xD

Yumaaa

The first team to win 2 sets wins the match. The first team to score 25 points with a 2+ points lead wins the set. Ex¹: 25 x 23 ends the set; Ex²: 25 x 24 doesn't end the set; Ex³: 26 x 24 ends the set;

Luís

He has been misspelling a lot for ever and they had a lot of sync mess ups too. My Boi Klub is always on point with his edit

Trinature

Damn y'all need a new editor. They slackin' hard today! lol

Yumaaa

Yeah Ron you’re right it’s best out of 3

Teresa

When the ending is a lie cause you're already on Patreon and there's not more episodes available T.T And yes every game is best 2 out of 3! (and it's first team to 25 points with a 2 point lead so if there's only a 1 point difference some sets can go over 25 points). So maybe a more fun bet would be guessing the outcomes of individual sets instead of betting on the entire game? Cause otherwise we're going to end up seeing Ron murdered on screen lol

andIJDC

It’s always 2 games

Tini loves-NOYA❤️ #remsubaru
