@Jon, casualties of war? A large group of nations bought into Marley's story and all decided that Paradise island needed to be eradicated. Mikasa's distant family came pretending they wanted to help the people of paradise when all they really wanted to do was profit and take advantage of them. The Zeke volunteers wanted to use the people of paradise as a way to get back at Marley and reclaim their countries. So no matter how you slice it the people of paradise were on their own. And all of this mind you only started because the people of Marley, (including their drinking the cool-aid Eldians) attacked and infiltrated the walls of paradise for selfish reasons thus setting off a chain of events that led to the current climate. I.E. I'm with Eren because choices have consequences. Not a justification per se, but when your back is against the wall and it's you and your people or everyone else. Then Yea, I'm going with, bye to everyone else.

I agree 100%. Also, Armin told Eren he needed to become a monster when it was beneficial for them in the fight against Annie. Eren couldn't bring himself to hurt Annie and here's Armin with oh to beat a monster you have to become one. He can, yes, however there's a limit. In season 1, when Bert transformed, he made it a very mild transformation, however if that same transformation occurred where Armin is in this scene, it would heavily damage, if not destroy the boat. The colossal titan does not transform in a precise manner. Even if he were to control it, at the very least, he would kill Conny, Daz, Samuel, and damage the boat.

What’s crazy is Floch is 100% right. If they stop Eren obv the entire world will come and wipe out Paradis island from the map, the same island we’ve been watching the protagonists give their lives to protect for the first 3 seasons. Our main characters (mikasa, armin, jean, etc.) are literally Reiner, Berethold, and Annie. They’re all traitors. They even started playing the same music as Season 2 where they all confronted Berethold when he had Eren captive while riding Reiner during the last episode when Connie was trying to explain to his friends why he’s going against them. It’s the exact same thing. In season 2, Connie was asking them why they would betray them. In the last episode Samuel was asking why Connie would betray them. Exact same music. Reiner & Berethold were doing what they believed is the best for the world and will save the world. Our main characters rn are doing the same.

There will always be conflict but not war. You will have disputes but the people of paradis wouldn’t go as far as to kill themselves to the POINT OF EXTINCTION of the race. HOWEVER, the Marleyans + other countries wanted to kill EACH AND EVERYONE of the “devils of paradis” because they genuinely hate the people. Peace between man will never be certain but it LIKELY to be certain within your own country or group. There’s a reason WORLD WARS USUALLY entail fights against two separate nations or races or countries. Fights within each country never threaten the survival of the race, HOWEVER world wars can lead to genocide of a race. EREN IS RIGHT; THE ALLIANCE IS DUMB for siding against their people and allying with people who were once their enemies. Who knows? I’m not a yeagarist and I do not approve of Eren’s plan, but the scouts killing their friends without any hesitation and Mikasa having a shower with their blood and blowing them, how is that even different from what Eren’s doing?
