If I remember correctly, they do sweat (even k-pop idols when they are on stage haha) but their sweat doesn't smell bad because of that gene you mentioned :) in SK, there's a technique where you can inject botox into your arm pits that helps you sweat less/not sweat at all, it also exists in the US, so maybe that's why some people get confused and think Asians don't sweat
