He's doing it to gain the freedom for the people of the paradis~ I mean... Eren's #1 goal is to get the freedom for his friends and Eldians, so he sacrifices his own freedom to make himself a common enemy to both Eldia & Marley. He knows that the only way how to save humanity and unite the two nations is to give them an enemy they need to defeat together. Just like Erwin said, sometimes you need to sacrifice your humanity to save humanity and that's exactly what Eren did. If he didn't do it many of innocent people would die for no reason just because they were born Eldians... Eren's goal was not to start the genocide he wanted to save the people ~~ to say that Zeke's plan was better is in my eyes bullsh*t he wanted to basically delete the Eldians from earth and I don't agree to it at all, yeah Eren could just delete the existence of the titans but the world would not let Eldians live even after. He united them and made the possibility of Eldians and Marleyans co-exist real~~ that was possible thanks to his sacrifice, at least that is what my personal thoughts are… 😔

She was just so closed off that the hints were very subtle. Armin I feel only likes her because of Bertolt inside of him. There is no way he would like her after what he saw her do to his comrades back in Season 1. Plus he never had a hint of romantic feelings for her before he ate Bertolt.

When people hear genocide today, it's like a fantasy word. Watching a show like this, helps put information out there in a digestible manner, is a good way to help generations remember and understand history. Hopefully, humanity doesn't repeat those actions. It's going take more than words and talking to figure out solutions to the worlds problems. Not everyone is going to wait around while being neglected until there is a solution either.

So many things other than their current mission they need to conclude.. whatevers gonna happen to gabi and falco, annie meeting her dad and her relationship with armin, hopefully we see more of that “afterlife” of hange and erwin perhaps what they thought about the whole situation and if they saw how it ended, also if they show a teaser of what comes after the current story like whats the next big thing? Like something to do with the founder and perhaps more info of that special parasite, and how current titan shifters will manage the 13 year curse or if they can somehow nullify it

Btw, the thing between Annie and Armin goes way back in season 1 or 2 (the female titan arc), if you rewatch it, you'll notice they have feelings for each other (though very subtle); but they were on very different paths back then, they had no other choices. Besides, this proves that Bertholdt's feelings for Annie is unrequited.

I always thought that the fact that Annie avoided killing Armin at all costs and that Armin tried to ignore all the evidence towards Annie for so long spoke volumes. Even the fact that Armin knew he could lure Annie out spoke for their relationship. They are both very independent individuals following their own paths, so the fact that they were both taking their sweet time in getting rid of each other in s01 (when Armin knew for months that Annie is a titan, and Annie knew that Armin is her biggest threat to find out) was just super sus in s01.
