Happy Friday :)

Comments

Been binged watching your Haikyuu uploads since your too busy getting married. So Michelle, now where's your ring? :D

BAM

Hello! Sorry! Is my hero academia coming out today? I saw 2 episodes of this anime and none of mha :( just to know

Seba Andorade

Remember what I told you about crows being omnivorous... eating up everything they see to get stronger. The symbolism... is ridicules and I'm so glad you caught it with the baby bird leaving the nest.

I wanna reply with a defence for the 3 setters but my defence has spoilers so I gotta refrain😅

I absolutely loved this episode because of how raw it feels. This is a major turning point for Hinata's personal growth as an individual and as a player--it's finally sinking in that his current worth as a player is dependent entirely on Kageyama's genius abilities as a setter. All Hinata has at this point is his raw natural athleticism and stamina--and that's about it. His actual skill as a volleyball player do not make him stand out, which is absolutely fatal in a sport that is dominated by strong, tall players.

JLou

You have to understand where hinata coming from though especially when wbu one keeps saying. “The quick is nothing special without that genius setter” of course he’d want to improve so he’s at least able to do with all setters

Sending you a big hug 🫂

honestly, this content drop helps me now to distract myself from breaking down, thank you guys and will support more quietly on the sidelines

I always find it interesting that all the setters (Kageyama, Sugawara, and the coach) can't seem to comprehend the spiker's point of view when he talks about time slowing down and being able to see at the top. Also, I love that neither of them are wrong. Kageyama would rather Hinata level up his fundamentals like blocking, receiving and serving while Hinata wants to polish the one thing he's good at to it's absolute limit so it works as well as possible.

Jake Thompson

yeah he mentioned it once early in season 1 during that Asahi arc and then it comes up again I think in the next episode actually

BlakeHobbes

@Christine I think the first mention of it was when they had that practice match against the neighborhood association and Ukai was like, I can't be the setter cause I have to be able to observe, at which point Suga volunteered to join the adults' team. There may have been other times where Ukai states it more clearly but I can't remember exactly when

andIJDC

Is Ukai a setter too? How did I not know that?

Christine Copeland aka Christine's Culinary Quest

Great great great reaction as alwaysss!! Though I have one question... WHERE IS MICHELLE'S RING? XD

Honey

Can't decide between #Where'sMichelle'sRing or #SaveRon

I just love and appreciate the effort that you guys do when it comes to upgrading your equipment just for us viewers to better enjoy your content. <3 Not a lot of streamers/content creators does that.

What a delicious early drop

Just in case you didn't fully grasp the nuance, the freak quick of Hinata and Kageyama, the one that always gets the exasperated reaction from opponents and audience, is when Hinata closes his eyes and Kageyama sets into his hand. Hence why the losing point against Seijoh in season one Hinata opened his eyes to the ball being behind him because of the block Hinata spikes with his eyes open when the duo perform a "normal" quick which essentially means its basically a quick as fast as any given team does. Hinata during that practice match realized that he needs to be able to spike the "Freak Quick" with his eyes open or there's no point in him being on the court Kageyama, Suga, and Ukai all doubt him because it sounds impossible but remember all three of them are Setters, NOT Spikers

BlakeHobbes

I CANT WAIT ANYMORE!! PUT OUT MORE!!1 it gets better from here

Chun

Can’t wait for the summer camp is the best tear’s always there

Tini loves-NOYA❤️ #remsubaru

the conversation between 3 setters and 1 spiker tho, wish they could understand how hinata wants to evolve from the duo with kageyama where he can only spike if kageyama sends the ball to him into a spiker who can spike anything he wants but they all were so intent on making things comfortable
