I'm way late to the conversation but you are correct. I work for State Farm in Texas not sure were ya live but coverages usually work the same throughout the US. For the Loss of Use or Additional living expenses coverage to work, there has to be a loss to the residence in which is not habitable. Not having A/C is uncomfortable but habitable which botanbutton mention it will not covered. Only way it will be covered is if someone has a medical illness or either elderly or infants are living there since high heat can be dangerous for them. Almost 20 years later, rewatching this episode definitely hurt a lot more than it did when I was a teenager. One Piece really is something else...

It all depends on your policy & loss of use/ALE coverage but typically, for your situation, your home having a broken AC wouldn't make it considered an uninhabitable residence unless you have a medical condition. What's important to the insurance company is, is your home not habitable? And they may have way different standards than ya'll or me, lol. Hope this was helpful!
