Ron isn't explaining that this is some life changing thing thats going on and his entire world is over, its simply an explanation as to why they couldnt upload. Nothing more or less, but YOU took at as if they were trying to make it seem like its the end of the world when it wasn't that to begin with. You just seem to lack comprehension of the situation. Just because you state "don't want to be mean or anything" doesn't make your comment any less offensive than it is. "Let's man up" is definitely advice you can give, but in this context it does not apply at all lol. None of these things going on that "manning up" would fix. But, the fact of the matter is, this is their job... So when stuff like this happens to them OF COURSE its gonna be more detrimental on their end compared to if our AC were broken or we had slow wifi. In the grand scheme of things, yes, having your AC broken and slow wifi isn't ever gonna be as bad as other issues in the world. But we are on their patreon, so I also don't get why calling us fanboys is a bad thing either. I would not pay for their reactions if I wasn't a fan. Make that make sense.

i understand your point a view marvin. Bc i used to work 40-50 hours a week, and then i built this on the side (another 10+ hours a week), on top of my 9-5 that i worked for 10 years. So i get it. From the outside looking in, it looks like all we have to do is watch a few episodes of anime, so how does stuff like this happen. I think thats fair to ask. All i can say to try and answer your questions, without writing an essay is we record anywhere from 2-3 hours a day, because filming an episode, with intro outros and discussions take longer than 25 min each episode and we watch on average 4 episodes a day, no including double and triple drops, and we film 7 days a week. Plus building a community (a lot goes into it that people are unaware of, and the only reason we have had the success we have, is because of how much effort and time we put into the "extra things" that people just dont see) responding to every dm, reading every comment etc. This is daily. We dont have weekends off, so its just different. Instead of say 40 hours monday- friday, its closer to 35 hours, mon - sun. (not complaining btw just explaining). And we actually DO want to get ahead! But life keeps happening. The last few weeks, with needing to travel to houston for michelles mom every 2 weeks, random stuff happening, life, its not been easy getting ahead for every show were watching, bc that requires us to film for 3,4 or 5 hours instead of our normal 2-3, bc we have to film the episodes due plus the next episode if that makes sense. Either way, we appreciate you bing here, and understand your frustration. Were always trying to avoid this stuff.

I know another full-time reactor group that drops about 20 anime + live-action episodes per week and about 8 kdrama episodes which are generally around 1hr long. Pre-recording does help a lot.

I’ve been living out of a motel in tiny ol’ Grants, NM for the past ten days because my transmission blew in my car on the first day on the road, moving back to Austin from Vegas. Gotta always look for the good in these experiences, though. For example, the people in this small town are AMAZING and have been so helpful (the owner of my motel actually drove an hour and half to the nearest city to pick up my new transmission to save me some time and money—how nuts is that?). And the local cafe here makes one of the best lattes I’ve ever had! Sorry about your AC. I hope you can find a little good among that bad!

Hey, don’t be ashamed if you’re having a very negative day. I would be, too, if I had no AC!! When I read the 5k price I was like “It’s the HVAC”. We had that same issue about 4 years ago and ‘luckily’ it was in winter and well, the temp in the house dropped to 59 degrees before it was fixed and we wound up going up to my sister’s place (Dad and I.) I have been in 90 degree heat (heat wave in Argentina) with no AC. It was brutal. It’s also very dangerous (to your health but also, given how much electronics you guys likely have? Yeah, hot temps are NOT good for that stuff.) Wishing you all the best. Please, think of yourselves first right now. It’s no use for you guys to stress out so much it affects your health etc. If anyone whines and complains….let me at em XD
