I disagree with you, the fact you say that just proves you don't watch and are disingenuous. Especially seeing as Kishi made the film to begin with. Not to mention Naruto part 1 has 100 of 200 episodes of filler and shippuden is 44% filler. Naruto has just as many if not far more shit episodes and that does not detract from the story as a whole, just as the core Boruto story shouldn't be effected by its filler. He then set the condition that his main editor would be the writter and thus they agreed. Basically he knew it was just a cashgrab. And while his editor did the best he could, he had to rewrite the Naruto ending in order to create more conflict... This is what annoys me about Boruto and why it shouldn't be supported.

Kishimoto over saw boruto and later took over writing when there was a controversy with the other guy. Also I'm not sure if you just want to watch manga canon or the whole show but manga canon is pure fire and I think it has the potential to surpass Naruto, especially Two Blue Vortex , the Boruto Shippuden.

The problem is or thing is that Madara is actually right. Most of the villians in Naruto arent evil because they are evil or want to do something bad. Madaras goal is peace just like Hashiramas but the paths are different. Madara accepted reality and realized that even if people cooporate there can never be true peace because people will continue to fight because everybody has something that they love but also want to protect the things that they love which gives rise to conflict. nobody is right or wrong in that szenario its just this world and sinful human nature. Madaras goal is to escape this cursed reality by creating a new reality or world in the infinte Tsukuyomi, which is of course not the best way of peace but in Madaras mind the ONLY way of peace. and he is right because news flash people didnt stopped fighting in Boruto. I think that thing which gives Madara his villian aura is the fact that he loves fighting and doesnt see this world relevant anymore, because he absolutely beliefs that he will achiev his dream.. which means a new world. just think about what that does to your psyche.

The original creator got permission to create Boruto from kishimoto however kishimoto has been writing and running Boruto at least two years now the original author was dismissed in regards to something they did inappropriately .& Boruto is currently peaking. Boruto no filler episodes will go by very quickly but I’d argue that most of Boruto filler helps evolve Boruto world better than the manga cause the manga doesn’t really let us grow a bond for newer shinobi

I guess we don't know how old Madara was when he lost them? Gotta have more chakra maybe to unlock it. I think sometimes too the idea can be more important than the person. Like, in that moment he lost hope of the idea he will ever have friends or not be a child soldier ever again. Then there's the possibility that he was just referring to it like an inheritance where you know you're gonna be rich one day. Also, he could have already unlocked it and just not told anybody. I think you unlock the regular sharingan in battle like Sasuke did w Naruto and Haku, so Hashirama was just strong enough to do it. Madara didn't get Mangekyo until his favorite brother.

1 - Just follow your heart. Personally i didn't listen to any of those people who say boruto is trash or whatever. I watched it with an open mind, knowing it's not naruto's story anymore, but boruto's story and the new gen. To be fair, if Hashirama died in that encounter leading to the creation of the leaf, it wouldn't be crazy if Madara and Tobirama, then leaders of each respective clan and now the leaf, announced Hashirama as the FIRST HOKAGE in memory of his actions and as the solo individual that put his dream before his live, leading to the cease-fire and peace. Reality is that Kishimoto was not planning on using the senju clan as an important clan during the Classic Naruto. A lot of the plot was made up as he was creating the story in shippuden.

I'm gonna write the response again, because not seeing it after I meant to post it gives me anxiety. Obito was, as far as I'm concerned, referring to when he becomes Hokage. The only time I remember him talk about his sharingan is when he said that "they better carve my face with my Sharingan", or something like that. Obviously, he didn't think he was gonna become Hokage overnight. Secondly, I don't mean to disregard the bond between Hashirama and Madara, but I think losing 3 out of 4 siblings in war might be a little bit more psychologically taxing than losing someone's friendship.

It's not solely written by Kishimoto but directly supervised by Kishimoto over Ikemoto right now in TBV. Either way, I think we have to let it end before we can look back on it. It took longer to develop but should end well. People compare it to the past too much. By the way, Ikemoto isn't some random; he worked on the entire thing as chief assistant, even designing zabuza and haku. et me check. It is a legitimate collaboration with Kishimoto having currently decided how all the main points will end. I truly love that Naruto is flawed and shown as this background character. Like if you watched Boruto first, you would think of him like Sarutobi. I like that this story had the guts to follow through with what Gohan was supposed to be. The other anime can be content to continue with MCs, but this was always about generations. Just watch Boruto after Naruto: The Last. Watch the first arc, then skip all filler. It's not that long at all and people are too sensitive. I have no idea what pain they felt watching filler weekly, but just binge canon and stop crying for people who get to skip it. There are an absurd amount of hype moments for old characters. The only characters that suck are the ones who ALREADY suck in Shippuden. People say there's no development for the characters, but they just don't like the story, which is fine. It will NOT ruin the old school stuff. You will know by the end of Shippuden if the series is ruined or not. That's where everything shifts. It has no impact on going back and enjoying it. It's not perfect, but there's too much deciding for others what they can like.

Maybe I am just comparing it to Naruto series, but there's no way I could watch it without doing that because Naruto is literally there. And all the few good moments in Boruto are with Naruto and Sasuke :(

Most people who dont like Boruto havent actually watched it, I think. At least thats how I am. I wouldnt watch Boruto on my own, but Id be willing to 1st time watch it through your reactions. I will say, I'd prefer Bleach over Boruto if Boruto would get in the way of Bleach. Its the rival to Naruto and has a great story also with many mysteries like this series has.

I'd say we learned in previous episodes that the Uchiha were feared and segregated off in a corner. That's why they're more connected and closed off. There were kind of like prisoners of war so they prob only trusted each other. As to why they don't just stop the fighting? Just look at the world today.

No Ron, I like your idea. Hashirama easily could have posthumously become the first hokage right there in that moment, and then the second hokage ruled from there on out. In other words, his sacrifice to create the village is why his face gets to be on the mountain, even though he was long dead. I'm pretty sure they did not create the Fire Nation. Yeah and I'm not even 100% opposed to milking the series aslong they did it right. There were so much directions they could have gone milking it and they went the one most people would not be happy with. Kishimoto wrote so much side stories as novels about 4th hokage and kakashi. We could have had animes about that. We are fiending for more about Hashirama they could have go more indebt with him and madara the times skips inbetween these backstories we just got in these episodes. The other clans like Uzumaki and Hayuga people want to know more about them. And they choose to milk it of his snot nose kids, and not give much screen time to the charecters we already loved.

What made me say no completly to Boruto is, it left the world, the characters behind. It went from a ninja world, to a high tech one. You have new villains popping out of nowhere, stronger than ever, like... where were they before then ? And also, the hairstyle and the clothing is not appealing to me, it just look like a kpop hallyu concert at this point. If Naruto was like that off rip back when I started reading, I wouldnt have watched it, period. I hate edgy outfits etc... Naruto kept it clean and old school with some flavor with the bandages (Kakashi and Zabuza at first, wow) etc... But Boruto is doing too much, and Im glad Kishimoto wasnt apart of that crime. Even the faces, everyone has cute faces and lips popping out... like come on, Naruto appeal was the Ninja world and I was invested in that. Boruto is trying to make a ninja world for 2020s kids with kpop clothes and hairstyle, and im not buying that. Only episodes I watched were for old timers, and thats it.

I think a very nice and logical conclusion to Naruto would've been chapter 699. Boruto just makes no sense to me. The thing about Boruto it jsut left a bad taste in my mouth. Like you said earlier Kishimoto wasn't trying to do Boruto he wanted to do another project. Publisher told him if he green lights boruto then they will let him publish something else. To me that jsut sound like a nice way of blackmailing him. The new manga wasn't so hot, it wans't great but it also wasn't that bad. But considerering who the author is it magnified that, and people was comapiring it to his previous work. so they cancled it. Not only that they also butchering his already popular universe with boruto. Naruto was his baby he spend 15+ years building and they making it look bad with Boruto. His other series got cancled, yeah they left him no choice but to start writing boruto to salvage his already established and loved universe. Also the biggest thing that erked me is that it was an obvious cash grab. The anime is 85+% filler. because they rushed it without having much material from the manga. it was targeted for kids and young teens. But if they wanted money so bad why would they not target the people that litterally grew up along side NARUTO! When naruto ended most of the people that watched it was also in a stage in thier lives where they too was having kids and entering their dream careers. When we were kids we had no money to buy naruto merch and the like. And our parents for sure aint spending cash on figurines for us. We grown now and got grown people money. The amount of money they would have made if they weren't greedy by targeting a new audience while still trying to use nastalgia for the old is what cost them. While I heard it's starting to get good now ( the manga). I'm too far disinterested from the bad taste the start left me. And I was one of the people in the start when people was hating on it before it came out to give the series a try and I did read up on the manga until I found out more information on how they treated Kishimoto. But I hope y'all enjoy it. I'm never one to tell people what they should or shouldn't watch. I just wanted to give more context as to why the naruto fandom is torn between why you should or shouldn't watch it.

Honestly the senju was probably targeted after the second hokage died. It’s probably the only reason. And to protect themselves they might just abandon the senju last name. That's true of my options, too. Naruto has always been No. 1 for me, but now onepiece is the unchanging No. 1 for me. Of course, the pacing of the animation is very bad. But there's always no comparison between new and enjoyable adventures, friendships with colleagues, sometimes incredibly sad stories and moving stories, in my options. It's a switch from one of the best to a shonen only carried by good animated main fights with a story that feels like it's written by a 13 year old. If a Live action Naruto is to be made to be anything watchable, they have to diverge from the anime and incorporate some originality to it. This should go from storyline to characters, costumes, all of that. Use real people and cut most of the cheesy stuff and add real life dialogues instead of the anime stuff. Only keep the original things that make Naruto what it is. A 1 to 1 adaptation of the anime is gonna come off corny asf

I don't know if this is exclusively said in the anime, so if it is then correct me. But I believe the main reason for the lack of Senju is that Hashirama put the village before the clan and told all of his clan members to marry into other families to strengthen the village. Whereas the Uchiha are too proud and so most of them are full blood and remarry into the clan. Basically prioritizing the village vs prioritizing the clan.

Thing about anime and manga, yes it is the mangaka's or author's creation, but they're IPs that are owned by a publishing company, Naruto, One Piece and Bleach were all initially owned by Shounen Jump but then Jump discontinued then Shueisha then picked up Naruto so now they technically own that IP with respects in the mangaka. But once Naruto ended, it ended there, Kishimoto was pretty much done with Naruto and wanted to write different stories, so Boruto was created by another authour who consulted sometimes with Kishimoto but pretty much Boruto was a moneygrab at the start for Shueisha, but once it started failing they were like okay lets tag in Kishimoto for help LMAO. I will say Boruto was very boring and Boruto had no redeeming qualities at the start and it felt like it was essentially nostalgia bait seeing what the Naruto characters were up to for views since nobody cared about Boruto and it felt like it was just all filler episodes to me at least. Though i do say once kishimoto took on that project it got good

Just because Kakashi had white hair, doesn't mean he's Tobirama's grandchild. Jiraiya, Kimimaru, and Suigetsu all had white hair too. Plus the timeline wouldn't be accurate for Kakashi to be his grandchild, there is nothing to put together for a connection between Kakashi and Tobirama. There is no official reason but it can be implied that The Senju “disbanded” their clan by mingling with the other members of the village and taking their spouses last name so they won’t have “clan loyalty” as deep and as potentially dangerous as the Uchiha and so that their loyalty is only to the village. A theory came out that Tobirama probably got with either an Inuzuka woman or a Hatake clan woman and would end up being Kakashi’s grandfather.

It'll take almost a year to watch Bleach (if you watch 4 episodes a week) so if you don't want to leave that world, that's not necessarily the greatest idea... The emotions when watching Boruto won't be the same. I personally started Boruto right away after finishing Naruto and I don't regret it at all. Right after finishing Naruto, I watched 200 episodes of Boruto and it was a lot of fun. It actually helped me not get into any "post-finale depression" after watching the end of Naruto. I personally would advise doing both at the same time : 3 episodes of Bleach / 1 Episode of Boruto OR 2 episodes of Bleach / 2 episodes of Boruto each week. It's like saying you don't want to leave Game of Thrones' world but wait a year and a half before starting The House of Dragons when all the episodes are already out... Or like playing Assassin's Creed Origins and waiting an entire year before getting into Assassin's Creed Odyssey to avoid comparing both games. (Or Playing Nier Replicant 2020 and waiting an entire year before getting into Nier Automata... Why would you do that when you have access to that content ?) Yes, you should consider Boruto as its own show (since that's the case) but you don't need to wait that much time before getting into it, especially if you don't want it to end... As people have advised earlier in the comments, you may skip the fillers (except a few cute ones). Now, the problem is : there are a lot of animé canon episodes that you can't really skip. And as someone has mentioned it, you can watch the movie about Boruto ; now, the problem is there's an arc before that movie so you have to keep in mind that a few things would get "spoiled". What you can also do is watch Boruto in arcs : you can take a break from Naruto content for a few weeks after the end of Naruto (a month or 2), then start the first manga canon arc ; pause ; then another arc ; pause and so on. The only problem is that you would forget a lot of stuff haha.

Hashirama is a damn cheat code. His jutsu cannot be taught to anybody. He has an bloodline trait that has nothing to do with his bloodline. No other senju can do woodstyle. He has these cells that just heal on their own. Even when he is dead, his cells carry his ability.

Masashi Kishimoto is the creator/writer/artist of Naruto, and is also the creator/supervisior of Boruto. Boruto is his intellectual property. The art and general creative is handled by Mikio Ikemoto (his lead assistant from Naruto). The anime is a different story, and too much to explain.

The first two canon arcs of Boruto (arc 0 and arc 1) were written by Kishimoto (Original Author), which is why they still feel like Naruto. But then he decided to leave to write a new manga called Samurai 8, which failed miserably. Boruto's following arcs were badly criticized by a lot of people, it only had 10% of the audience compared to Naruto, and the anime was halted (canceled). After Kishimoto's new manga was also canceled he decided to "return" to Boruto as a supervisor/second writer. However, the story was still partially written by someone else, which made the way the story and battle progress very differently and focused more on drama than fighting. Now that Boruto manga or Part 1 is finished, a continuation, or Part 2 called "Boruto: Two Blue Vortex" was launched in August 2023 whose story is solely written by Kishimoto (they say). PS: I don't blame Kishimoto for leaving Boruto and trying something else. He was ambitious, but it just didn't work out.

You guys have to watch The Last Naruto Movie after episode 493. It has a connection to Boruto’s storyline. I think you should continue watching Boruto after watching Naruto so you don’t lose track of the storyline. The war arc has a lot to do with Boruto too.

Reality is that Kishimoto was not planning on using the senju clan as an important clan during the Classic Naruto. A lot of the plot was made up as he was creating the story in shippuden.

Almost everything good about Boruto is continued from Naruto. Everything bad is too. Like Boruto did not ruin Rock Lee or Anko. Shippuden did! It did not make ridiculous power levels, Shippuden did!

Just don't let the hate influence you so much. Naruto's story continues but he's not the main focus. No it's not as good but it's plenty fun, especially if you got tired of the grand war for like 250 episodes.
