Did you end up giving it a chance? I highly recommend it. Is it the one of the greatest anime ever? Definitely not. But slime is totally one of a kind and unique. If I had to describe the entire show with a word, it would be "happy". It truly is so wholesome and satisfying And it just makes you feel good watching it lol.

There will also be lots of action for Ron to look forward to. The seeds that have been sown in this world building season will pay off big time! I can't wait

By the end of the story his power is top 5 in all anime, but his personality makes it as if he is weak. This episode sums up slime and Rimiru so well, he knows Shiki is the one trying destroy his country, with all the evidence pointing that it is him. But he still questions if it's true because he rather avoid fighting him, because he someonewhat consider him kin because they both came from japan. And Rimiru just don't like confrentations. Unless Shiki kills one of rimiru friends, he'll just pretend everything is cool and fine.

Either way none of this matters my point was that rimuru isnt all powerful and there are a lot of people still stronger than him

He's too kind hearted, unless he felt like he has no choice he would avoid a fight and or not try to kill. Also the anime glosses over so much stuff. In the LN they explain so much more in detail all of rimiru abilities when he gets them or gets stronger as the series goes along. Basically the barrier Vel was stuck in in episode 1 seperated him from time and space. so he could'nt get out. Rimiru analyzed it and broke it to free him. Gojo ability extends space between him and whatever he don't want touching him. It's obvious from that information alone who'd win in a fight. And that is not even going indebt with all of rimirus abilities he got when he became a DL.

And the conflicts are based on political consequences which makes it a lot more realistic than most shows. People don’t want to sit through this but aren’t realizing that when it build to a conflict matching the scale of what’s being created it’s going to be worth it
