Dudes you're all looking at the problem the wrong way, they are following 9 anime at the same time. 9 anime a week. So until they finish one and don't replace it by something else, I don't see it happening.

True. It will do everyone a favor, also themselves. Because more or less 1 ep per day is good pacing and usually feels good for most people regularly watching anime. It should be absolutely acceptable by everyone. Of course most important is that Rice & Ginger like the pacing themselves, but I think 4 per week just ain't it. I feel like if they don't see it that way yet, they will sooner or later anyways.

I'm not saying this in a hateful way, but I do think you guys should add another day of One Piece, going at this pace will take you guys 5 1/2years to catch up to episode 1120. (remember y'all one piece has around 100 fillers with 1120 episodes and ongoing) Naruto Shippuden has 203 fillers with 500 episodes, basically 300 canon episodes, hope you guys can take this in consideration for your viewers :) 👍💙

I see a lot of people asking for triple episodes but personally, I don't care. I'm not asking for triple episodes a batch, but rather they themselves watch more than 2 episodes together in their own time. They just have to watch a bunch of episodes and stockpile it, releasing 2 at a time.

Best would be to DM them too. Telling them the triple drops 241-243 and 248-250 might be a bit too late now since they already planned the episodes they would watch and film in the film schedule early. Unless you told them way earlier or someone else has already told them way earlier like at least 4 weeks prior. 275-277 could still be possible. Best to remind them too.

I think They are planning in increasing episodes in the future. But you gotta think if they keep this pace up not only are the securing themselves a nice financial security bonus but they might actually finish around the same time as the actual anime. They watch a lot of shows so lets just enjoy the ride.

yeah they’ve scheduled it like a normal anime, when imo an anime of this length should be treated differently. on top of forgetting everything, I can see them struggling to get through some of the longer + slower paced arcs in the future. sadly, I think their experience will be affected by watching it like this.

I agree with all these. I just checked and yeah those are the only ones they need before the 300 mark. And yeah there first quadruple drop has to be 275-278. It’s just fitting. Those are some of the best episodes of the series. You can’t watch 275-277 without watching 278 right after.

There are a lot of shows they're watching, but to be honest, if you watch onepiece four times a week, it takes five years to catch up to the latest and the big moments can be spoiled..Especially the pacing now is fine but the pacing of one piece later is really exhaustingly slow..

I'm just going to say it. One Piece is not the type of show you watch 2 episodes in a sitting. The best way to enjoy it is to binge it or watch in big batches so that your brain can get used to the slow pacing naturally during that watch session. This is especially so for reactors that react to multiple animes (especially recent ones). Reason being that the recent animes all have faster pace animation. Thats why when you switch back to One Piece pacing, it feels really slow. This is just my take. Everyone has their own schedule so do what works.

When I started this anime I knew there were going to be confusing arcs, but none confused me more at that time than the water 7 saga, in the end it was worth all the headaches, the crying and the uncertainty that Oda gave us in this arc.

Its amazing watching this being caught up, but only having started one piece back in January. I watched water 7 in February and it feels like a million miles away at this point. It's also wild how much you don't know at this point in the story, you forget how early on it is and that there's so much lore that hasn't even been mentioned yet. I guess that's a product of a long series like this though.
