The diamond is the 100 healing justu that Tsunade created by amassing over 3 years of chakra in your forehead. It’s very difficult because the chakra you are storing up for years in the forehead cannot be used. You have to basically have two different chakra storages. One for the 100 healing and then the other for everything else. That’s why it’s so hard and only tsunade and Sakura can do it. Sakura will be able to heal herself the same way Tsunade did against Madura.

What I find illogical in Naruto is how the Kage has to be the strongest person in the village or most skilled in combat. This could be true for a tribal society (pre-village era in the Narutoverse) where fighting for survival is the primary activity, but as societies start to organize more and there's more peace and prosperity, they tend to divide tasks and skills between members and specialize in specific areas. The best warrior would not necessarily make the best "head of state". Furthermore, the selection process of the Kage is clearly very political, and therefore logically the best candidate would have to be the best politician, i.e. one who has good connections and can use persuasive language. It would have made more sense if the Kage selection process involved actual combat like the Chuunin exam or such.

Naruto IS a masterpiece in its own way, but not because of everything you mention. The problem is that you are evaluating just the details, which yes, obviously they are important, but I think that the kind of anime that is Naruto, goes more to the teaching, the symbolism, the metaphors, not so much to who is the strongest or what details are good or wrong. There are many characters who are very strong just in their own class. Sakura as a healer is excellent for example. In addition to the characters, which I understand that you may want to see more of one or the other, Kishimoto focused a lot on the emotions, because we see scenes that give chills not because of the logic, but because of how they are constructed. So if we are going to measure it as an anime with a perfectly constructed story, maybe it has some flaws, but as a perfectly told story, I think it is a masterpiece. Few anime have generated in me the emotion that Naruto did, and few have stayed in my heart for so long. That's because its value lies beyond the narrative details.

Beyond the fact that the trigger was Rin, to generate his hatred and his dark path, I believe that it is his reasoning in the end that leads him to where he is. Ron, I think what you aint getting about the Rin situation is that she legitimately had no choice. She knew kakashi and everyone else would do everything to try and save her and of course kakashi wasnt going to kill her. Please try and think back to all jinchuriki... when have you ever in your 300 + episodes of watching this show, seen just anybody be a jinchuriki candidate. We have seen the process in which the sand, cloud, and leaf all pick their jinchurikis and it is a very rigorous, and tedious process. Only very select few can be jinchuriki. You put something like that in just anyone, and they will let it rampage in a few hours of it being sealed. It doesnt matter what seal it is, it could be the uzumakis most powerful seal, doesnt matter if the host is not suitable. Hell new born Naruto, had more chakra then chunin Rin LOL. Rin was not a special candidate she was chosen on the battlefield at random to be a bomb. Rin knew there was only one outcome for this and that was her death. Her next choice was does she want to die now, therefore putting the tailed beast in a reincarnation cycle for the next decade, not putting the leaf in any danger, saving her comrades, or did she want to try and find some help knowing she would be putting pthers in danger and that she would still die in the end with the tailed beast rampaging. Theres a lot of scenes where you can have the " well this is just my opinion on it" take in this show... this aint one of them brother. Its very set in stone, theres not really any other opinion you can have on it

Nah the way some of the characters were treated/written in this show was just disappointing imo. Ron, I totally understand and agree with you! Kishimoto is known for not writing female characters well throughout the whole show. Many fans love the series but also agree that characters like Sakura, Tenten, Ino, Rin, and even Hinata are shadows of what they could have been—well-written characters with more impact beyond just screaming or serving as motivation for the male characters. When I watched it as a kid, I liked everything and didn’t understand why my sister disliked some of the female characters. After rewatching it as an adult, I can now see the issue. When you have more life experience, it’s hard to ignore certain things that are, yes, poorly written. That doesn’t diminish the series—it’s still great, but it’s not perfect, and that’s okay.

For the sealing jutsu you don’t need to be a Kage, you just need Kage level strength. Kakashi, Itachi, maybe Guy and some other elite high level Jonin could potentially all use it. But it’s a hidden jutsu that only the elite of the leaf know anyway.

Not really. In the movie road to ninja… the alternate timeline is minato still alive and Naruto shine on his own in any case. Guys, Hokage LEVEL means you need 4 shinobi as strong as a Hokage. It doesnt necessarily mean they have to be hokage. Orochimaru, Pain, Kisame are all examples of shinobi I would consider Hokage level who could be considered strong enough to create that Barrier.
