2024-10-27 07:58:19 +0000 UTCthat outro was definitely a naruto reference, he called it 'tongue summoning' bruh, that's straight up a summoning jutsu reference from naruto. ninjutsu is a general thing, but at the same time i dont recall any other anime with handsigns similar to naruto's and i've watched a lot of them. Usually ninjutsu is represented in different ways, the handsigns are very naruto specific tho. i could be wrong, if some1 has an example of an anime where they use them id love to know. edit: I remembered there's a manga called Tough, MC knows a ninja/assassination type martial art and handsigns are used in it in some moments. So it is a general thing I suppose, it's just really uncommon.

The day official paid sites no longer have a small & limited selection to watch from, poor subtitle quality, buffering/streaming issues, and worse site UI than what 3rd party sites have, I'll buy a paid sub like I have with actual good services like amazon prime/spotify premium. Fansubbers are simply better, they're more passionate and do better work. 3rd party sites have better site design and layout with QoL features like adding episodes you've watched to your anime list directly, comments sections, etc. They are also open about their shadiness and don't try it hide it unlike sites like crunchyroll which underpay their employees while running a monopoly, while making large profits from user subscriptions but not using that money to improve their website, video player or streaming service, nor re-investing that back into the anime industry to promote more growth. I also resent the 'free' argument so much, as if people who watch for 'free' can't have criticism or negative opinions on what they're watching. Time is everything not just money, the older you get the more you understand this. If I'm investing my time into watching or doing something, it's no longer 'free', because I'm choosing to spend quite literally the most precious asset on this planet that you can never get more of.

Without him, the last few goals wouldn't have been possible. Also, forcefully pushing other players away or pulling hard on their jerseys is not allowed in soccer (that's a foul) but you are allowed to hinder them, like Karasu does with his hands, for example. In this way, he pushes his hands between himself and the other player to create distance. And just a reminder, since you said you don't know who to cheer on in the games and who should win: Winning or losing at the tryout games doesn't determine whether you end up on the team that plays against the U- 20. In the tryouts it's important to show what you're capable of and prove yourself in interaction with the top 6

I believe ‘jutsu’ has ties to abilities. For example, a certain hand sign can help one hold their breathe for longer. It is believed it would unlock something internally ^^ I am paraphrasing from sources I have seen online, so I could be dead wrong. However it was something I looked into a couple years back so that was just from my recollection. Anime wise, you could see ‘hand signs’ in a lot of things such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Dragon Ball etc. not as in depth as Naruto but they are there

You can use your hands to protect your space or basically hold people back but you can't grab people or their jerseys and pull them back or down. That's my understanding of it. P.S. The southern/country-ish twang in the accent is coz he's speaking the Kansai dialect of Japanese, or Kansai-ben as it's called :p I really love Kansai-ben xD

The hand signs are taken from eastern mythologies from Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism. So, I think it was a Naruto reference and the other animes that did the hand signs could also be Naruto references. Don't quote me on this, I'm not 100% sure on this info.
