I think Akame is really the MC of the story but they used Tatsumi as one of the other MC just to put in the outsider's perspective and they can also tell the stories of other characters and not just solely focus on 1mc like any other animes.

You know its real when Michelle likes Najenda lol even in the earlier episodes she said she has her sexually confused 😂 Yeah its hard to depict between the Yaegers and Night Raid which good or evil it's a gray area. You can look at it through different perspectives that's one of the great things about this show
