For some more context: Michelle has not seen any of these movies. I watched Terminator 1, probably 15 years ago now? Its been a while. The rest I have not seen.
(Michelle and I did watch the newest Star Wars movie though. The one with Rey. but we both have not seen the originals LOL)

No one is going to be mad if you choose the release Order (aka OG Trilogy then Prequels then Sequels) Some people are going to be mad if you choose the intended chronological order (per George Lukas), aka Prequels then OG then Sequels. For my star wars nerds I personally like the flashback order. Start with R1 then Ep4, Ep5, then flashback to Eps 1,2,3 and end with Ep6.

People were asking are you going to watch the older ones first (by release date) or in chronological order (meaning 1 then 2 then 3, ect).

2024-10-29 16:02:39 +0000 UTCI recommend you not watch the movies in chronological order - The reason the release order works is because Episodes 1,2, The series, and 3 become really informative - Also between Episodes 2 & 3 there's a time jump which is why you need the Series which takes place in-between (It's really confusing and people do hate it - The series fixes all the problems)

2024-10-29 15:52:04 +0000 UTCThe difference from what I kno .. and I’m not the biggest fan of Star Wars so I could be wrong but the originals came out in like the the 70s … the “Episode” movies were done in the 99 and 2000s when I was a kid to current time .. apparently some of the recent movies preceed or take place before the OG 70s movies .. 🤷🏾♂️ so may have to possibly look up the order in which they should be watched if this option is chosen …. It’s the same thing with the Alien movies as well .. some of the newer movies take place before the OG movies so the timeline is tricky

Highly suggest watching them in order of release. So episodes 4-6 then episodes 1-3. Most Star Wars fans watched them this way and watching the older ones first gives you way more lore, insight and appreciation when going into 1-3.
