2024-11-08 11:12:06 +0000 UTCalchemists don't "have an element" btw. Alchemy is like science, and alchemists have a realm of study that they tend to be proficient in. Mustang for example studied a lot of fire alchemy and designed his gloves to have transmutation circles on them so he can easily and effectively create fire during combat. There's nothing to stop an alchemist from transmuting anything into anything else, it's just a matter of what they studied, and in the case of state alchemists, how they apply their alchemy knowledge in a militaristic way. For example, the first guy we encountered didn't really have any direct combat applicable use for the alchemy he studied - but he was very good at creating chimeras. This is made pretty clear with how ed and his teacher both fight - because they don't have to draw transmutation circles, they can transmute anything on the fly, which is what makes them so dangerous. They can pull weapons out of walls, they can make the ground move underneath them. They can make doorways, cannons, etc. Anything.

2024-11-08 02:59:32 +0000 UTCAny alchemist can use any type of alchemy. It all depends on their knowledge and the transmutation circle they're using. That said, most alchemists specialize in one particular type. Mustang specializes in flame alchemy; the circle on his gloves is specifically for that purpose (If you look at it, you can see a flame and a salamander in it - salamanders are associated with fire). So if Mustang wanted to use something other than flame alchemy, he'd need to draw a transmutation circle for whatever he wanted to make.

Not only are teeth made of of a very specific substance that isnt found in nature or our suroundings but also he needs to create the dna inside so that when the doctor checks its there (in other words mission pretty imposible
