These guys in the comments saying they can do that whole combo are out of thier minds ahhahaha. Just trust me on that. They are NOT doing that.

2024-11-17 07:15:50 +0000 UTCAnimation at parts, such as shidou’s first goal in isagi’s game with him and rin, has been absolutely horrible. But if all of the big moments coming up get animated similarly to that Nagi scene, I will be fine with it. Obvious I’d love it to get haikyuu level animation, but that just seems impossible. Also, most of the moves done in the show are incredibly hard to do, but they are possible. Even in the manga, there’s only a couple moments where players do moves that are unrealistic. So going forward just assume the moves are able to be done in real life.

La Boba is the name of a dribbling move where you pull the ball back but immediately stop it making the defender flinch thinking you're pulling back but you cut in putting the ball through their legs (aka nutmeg) and get past him. And Nagi's shot not sure if I've ever seen or heard of someone doing it irl but I think it's definitely possible imo :p

It's usually miss management from the higher ups who give green light and not the animators who desperately try to work in that mess when they're massively stressed with little time. The production for Dandadan on the other hand was well organized. I heard that they were even ahead of the schedule. Understandably, so. It's a very popular manga and Science Saru is an animation studio known for their quality and artistic touch. Episode 7 still managed to surpass high expectations for this anime.

Plus, there are more artwork directors than in Season 1. The focus has shifted more toward detailed artwork rather than animation movement.
