I'm watching for the first time alongside you and I actually thought season 3 was really good and broke that repetitiveness up a lot... however, the end of the season and from what I can see the start of this one is going back to that same repetitive formula of shokugeki after shokugeki. Imagine every single episode of Naruto had Naruto and the rest of the Konoha 13 fighting someone different and winning every time. It's the nature of the show to have cooking battles, obviously, but the battles are too similar to each other to differentiate. I remember in seasons 1 and 2 getting excited when someone challenged another to a shokugeki and now it just feels run of the mill. I also thought the team shokugeki concept would be a lot more interesting and different than it actually is. It's still just 1-on-1s and that's kind of disappointing. Still I loved where the plot went in season 3 and thought the build up to this event itself was really good. Hoping for some more interesting plot developments soon!

I'm not sure if patreon allows to put on age restriction on videos, but I feel like it might be a fun addition if you guys are in the mood for something more vulgar in terms of language/sexual tension with a twist of dark humor. I personally love it when you guys react as a couple towards the more 'sketchy' things cause obviously the shows means to stirr a reaction out of the audience, so it's like perfect react material. I know Michelle has been craving a romance related show though, so ecchi might not be the exact best genre to go into right now lol.

I felt satisfied with season 4 and thought it was the last season. I do love Food wars but I told myself damn there's another season right after? Lol which is ofc the final season. I'm not tripping if you guys get a break before season 5. Whatever you guys decide to do is fine with me but I'll eventually watch season 5. From what I remember though I feel like this should have been the final season, S4 is good and it felt final but hey I could be wrong since its been a while since I finished S4.
