Obviously, never feel obligated, these are just dope shirts we wanted to create to make Sushi Squad proud and wanting to bond more with everyone here because this community is AMAZING! We created this as a way to represent being open minded, supportive and genuine! Everything Sushi Squad represents. Michelle designed EVERYTHING HERSELF because she is truly a badass! ๐
This specific design may not be around forever. To start off, we only have around 100 or so. I think it would be cool to only sell it for a little while, then never again. Would make this OG, vintage, Day 1 type shirt! That would be a cool concept imo! But def a limited supply right now. ๐ฆโโฌ

2024-12-13 15:13:17 +0000 UTCJust to preface Iโm not Japanese Iโm just learning it. Hiragana and Katakana are the simple Japanese writing systems, and Kanji is the complex one. (Iโm sure you know this tho.) Katakana is typically used for loan words from other languages and foreign names. Iโd be curious just to hear why he gave the Kanji for sushi as one option and then the katakana for the other, leaving out the Hiragana. Maybe cuz itโs in English context, (and probably looks better aesthetically to not mix them) but Iโm not sure. I love learning more about Japan and the language so please let me know! ๐
